Grats!!! You're going to love it!!!

Mine was super easy. I horked from the anesthesia when I woke, took a single, regular Tylenol that night, and was walking around town the next day. I didn't take any more pain meds. I put a mile or two on my feet the second day, but I'm usually an infinite walker. I took it easy for two weeks other than walking.

It's the best thing that I've ever done.

thank you for sharing your experience. the recovery doesn't sound like the worst, thankfully.

it's still a bit surreal but I'm so ready for it and I'm sure it'll be a major life improvement afterwards

I'm not jealous AT ALL. NOT ONE BIT.

That's awesome!

I hope I can get it done before the end of the year when I'll be losing insurance, but fingers crossed!

Suggestion: use a heating pad on your lower back while reclining afterwards, the heat helps relax all the muscles in your lower body. I fully plan on getting some edibles to eat afterwards.

I will have my fingers crossed in hopes it works out for you!

Congrats! Are you skipping the scrotectomy in prep for a future vaginoplasty?

PS: I have gone through a number of major surgeries. Just make sure to have someone to take care of you for a few days while the aftereffects of the anesthesia work their way our of your system, and while you heal.

Sending good vibes.

Nice. Please be a good patient and focus on sleep and recovery. A lot of people feel guilty and start trying to be less of a burden by "busy bee-ing". All that does is put you at risk. Just enjoy a couple of days of rest and sleep.
