[-] ramius345@sh.itjust.works 4 points 3 weeks ago

Cheap grocery store generic pizza and a Yuengling lager.

Coffee (hot or iced) and toast with butter or peanut butter.

[-] hungrythirstyhorny@lemmy.world 1 points 3 weeks ago

aaa i see, what type of coffee do you prefer? black?

[-] cRazi_man@europe.pub 3 points 3 weeks ago

I'm not a coffee snob. I just want my coffee to be quick and simple. Instant coffee can make do. I take it with milk and a sweetener. These days I'm making Colombian Rave coffee via Aeropress.

Coffee drinking is a very recent thing for me. It used to be Yorkshire tea with milk and sweetener. Still happy to have this as well.

aa i see, did some googling on this colombian rave and yorkshire tea cos i havent heard that brands before. it seems like you have a fine taste.. salute.. btw, sometimes i wonder seeing from what caffeine do to our body, but still we choose coffee for our 'chill drink', and most of the coffee shop design is just so cozy and chill, i mean sometimes i did drink coffee to chill, but pls correct me if im wrong

pardon my english

😆 I wouldn't describe myself as someone with fine taste. But I do like experimenting with things I use every day to find what I like best. This goes for hot drinks, brands of peanut butter, ink pen, mechanical keyboard, etc. If I'm going to interact with something every day then might as well be the best experience I can get (without breaking the bank).

Caffiene isn't so bad. Sleep disruption is about the worst of does to you, unless you drink crazy amounts. Unfortunately coffee shop culture isn't great in the UK. Europe does this much better with nice little cafes. Cafes here aren't the chill third spaces as they are in Europe. And I'm not going to spend £5 on a coffee. Certainly not going to pay money for a tea (they throw a teabag in warm water and charge money for this). I would rather have people come to my house and have a drink, but people don't have the time or inclination for that these days it seems.

Good coffee, and I think you can guess the other one.

The only time I ever crave a beer is with some wings. I love wings but rarely eat them for many reasons including having to basically shower in the sink afterwards thanks to the beard (lol) but man that combo will sooth me quickly.

[-] hungrythirstyhorny@lemmy.world 2 points 3 weeks ago

owh wow havent tried that combo, but. sorry, do you mean chicken wings,, any sauce for the wings?

[-] PenguinMage@lemmy.world 2 points 2 weeks ago

Chicken wings, yes, I go for a spicier sauce myself as the cold beer is a delicious counter for spicy food.

[-] hungrythirstyhorny@lemmy.world 2 points 2 weeks ago

owh okay,,i see thanks for the recommendation ..
