Consider: Two buttons
Collaborative version. Button presses have to go in color order (ex. Blue button only Blue team can press the button and make the button Purple). Goal is to keep the button alive for (x) amount of time or bonus, as long as possible.
Also, may be cool to have a new variation each time the game is played.
That would be really cool!
Maybe which colour is next isn't known ahead of time. Maybe the colours are actually pixels that fill in an image.
Slap fight: clicks regenerate. Clicking the button starts a five second timer. During the countdown, clicks work as normal, but after five seconds the button is locked to whoever pressed it last for five minutes before it can be pressed again
Interesting, I wonder if this would incentivize people to click immediately or to hold off.
What about making a list of stackable modifiers, and before the game starts everybody selects a set of modifiers to vote for.
I like this, but I'd change it to having rounds of modifiers since lots of people join the game after it's already started. So either the modifier can change, or multiple modifiers can be added over time. The multiple-mods one sounds the most interesting, especially if the mods can combine/interact but would need playtesting to make sure some combos aren't broken (or let people vote for broken, that's still fun).
Consider adding orange as a team.
Edit: Citrus lovers, don't let any clown appropriate the colour. Remember tangerines.
Can someone confirm if we have the technology for something this crazy?
What's crazy about orange?
I'm not sure that's appropriate to discuss here. ๐
(Nothing lol)
The Button
The Button is a social experiment game where the objective is to press a button.
Yes. You read that right.
