It is better Ukraine doesn't get involved in this shit show in the near east. I support Ukraine, but will end that if they get all buddy buddy with Israel. Seriously, fuck Israel.

Iran has been aiding Russia this whole war. Ukraine being hostile to Iran is because of that.

Ukraine imposed sanctions on iran in 2007. The west been sanctionning Iran for decades . You are asking Iran to do nothing and die slowly. If ukraine is willing to negociate with Russia who is the invader , they can with Iran too

I am not asking Iran to do anything. I am saying Ukraine has reasons to be hostile towards Iran that have nothing to do with Israel. Everyone involved in any of this are terrible when you scrutinize them, fuck all of them.

If Ukraine can do peace talks with Russia the invader that it never trusted. They can do the same with Iran . This won't push Iran farther away from Russia , it does the opposite

That is understandable from their point of view. Think about it. Russia is not freezing them out like everyone else that is on the US' dick. They give them a commercial option to sell and improve their drones. It is the US' fault, Iran is doing what is in their interest.

I certainly think that any Ukrainian who has experienced resisting the ground offensive from russia would be genuinely shocked to see what the "war" in Gaza actually looks like moment to moment.

The media pretends they are both wars when one war is genuinely a full scale war and the other is the slow, open air prison extermination of Palestinians with tanks, mortars, assault rifles, starvation and denial of basic neccessities.

If you are in the trenches in Ukraine, you are actually resisting a real, existential force threatening to overwhelm with columns of tanks and a seemingly unstoppable malice of industry. The terrible reality in Israel is that this is what Israelis tell themselves as they commit Genocide and it is used cynically as an invitation both there and in the US into willing blindness about the consequences of our choices and our fear unbridled.

If who Israel is fighting in Gaza had tanks they would have only been ethnically cleansed faster, that is the essential difference here.

mehhh, Irans been lobbing drones on them for years and are aligned with the cnuts tryin to destroy them. They're also looking for Mirage fighter jet donations from one of the ME nations they're helping.

Iran have been involved in the war in Ukraine for years. Ukraine has better reasons to fight it than USA or Israel.
Ukraine's involvement is on the defence, they don't bomb Iranian cities. And the drones they shoot are not only targeting USA and Israel directly.
Ukraine is still fighting for survival and they have to make some tough choices to fund that fight. Unlike West Europe they can't just say 'fuck off, we won't help you' to their important or potential arms suppliers.

Yes, it is not a great place for them to be in, but in their current situation I find this is quite justified.

"Allies" of the U.S. in the middleeast have a shitton of stockpiled patriot missiles from decades of buildup.

Ukraine needs those missiles to protect themselves from daily attacks.

The middle eastern counties need to stop using them on cheap drones but don't have Ukraines expertise in knocking them out of the sky with other methods.

War makes strange allies at times. Sort of like in WWII how the allies saved the Soviet Union under the genocidal Stalin.

There are many ways to respond to this, but as someone who heavily disagrees with launching the Iran War despite how I do not like the Iran government (I don't like my own US government... I mean... that doesn't mean I want my government and capital city to be bombed by military jets and drones? Nor do I think it would empower democracy if someone did it?), what I would point out is that Ukraine, almost more than any other nation on earth is in a realllllly tough spot here.

We should be upset with every other country on earth for not standing up to the blatant violent imperialism of the US and Israel before we get upset with Ukraine for it, Ukraine is fighting an existential land war, I just don't see how we can expect the official aspects of the Ukraine government to lead the charge here, it is not Ukraine's place to do so. It is the rest of the international community, especially Europe's, job. Obviously though first and foremost it is primarily the job of people in the US and Israel to hold our leaders accountable and ourselves accountable, but that is beside the point here.

For Ukraine this is a question of maintaining the resources necessary to preserve the country, so idk I still expect people in Ukraine to see the reality of the Palestinian Genocide and to see past the lazy propaganda put out by the US and Israel to try to justify this heinous war on Iran as I do people anywhere on earth, but that is a different thing than hemming and hawing about Ukraine building defense partnerships with foreign countries to knock out flying bombs from the sky at a time when these partnerships are existentially necessary for Ukraine to sustain itself.

Not to mention the whole... Iran supplied a bunch of flying bombs to russia and then taught them how to build and use them thing...?

Honestly, it just feels like you are trying to divide people by saying something edgey.
