FBI warns Trump’s false flag operation is targeting California.
FTFY
The word aspired here really undermines this. Not planning, not attemped, aspires. That's not just the headline. They are quoting the alert. Is it worth reporting to the local PD everything Iran aspires to do?
They should be pointing that shit at red states realistically
The media agitation is aimed at blue states, because blue states have the highest population of anti-war people.
We're not going to get a story about Texas being targeted by Iran, because Texans are largely on board with the war. We're going to get an endless earful about California and New York and Minnesota and Oregon, because it gives reactionary media an opportunity to scream "Why are you rooting for Radical Islamic Jihadists?! THEY WANT TO KILL YOU!!"
Also, provides another great excuse for Trump when he decides to send in ICE to rough up brown people in SF or LA.
I think support for the war in Texas and similar red states is weaker than you'd think, but with enough dumb F**ks who would be brought back in line with a false flag attack.

The Republican political majority and much of the nationally elected DINO contingent fully backs the war. Maybe the people don't, but they'll continue to send up people who do to make decisions on their behalf.

Or just an AI video overlaid with TikTok voice that claims there was an Iranian attack.
5 democrats voted against reining in this current attack. And 3 republicans voted for it. But sure, they're both the same 🙄
It is however historically proven that attacks on the civilian population not only don't demoralise the people but in fact allign the people much better with the state and the war goals than amy other means
“Put a boot in their ass, it’s the American way” etc. etc.
They are. But America is planning an attack that looks like Iran on the best state that makes them look bad.
wat
The person you are replying to is suggesting a vindictive false flag event is being prepared. Classic conspiratorial banter.
But it’s 2026, so dismissing it as conspiratorial thinking/banter is possibly exactly what this admin wants. It’s a really fucked up time period.
Ah, thank you. I couldn't parse it at all before. This makes some degree of sense.
Translation: False flag attack by the Trump Regime on California.
There isn't anything worth attacking in most red states.
Oil refineries
The best refinery targets would be the ones that handle domestic US oil production, and many of those are located in blue states as well.
Really
Not Alabama Oklahoma or Texas? Near the source of the oil
Have you heard of Alaska?
Smart cutting off the coasts so you don't look like a moron.
They planned to bomb us in case we bomb them, so in self defense we bombed them.
whoodathunkit
Eh, even if they did, though. Fair's fair. Perfectly legit to respond to a country bombing you by bombing them back.
Real story is the timing and rationale of publishing the piece.
Unfortunately I don’t believe the current FBI as far as I can throw them.
Literally how would they do this it's on the opposite side of the globe
Generally speaking when a country attacks another country, this is what happens.
Trying to manufacture consent
More timely market manipulation (conveniently released alarmist faux journalism introduced onto newswire as US indices reach VWAP)
Sounds more like that the FBI is running defense for their boss right now.
