This really isn't great news. His son that will be in charge is just as evil. That's why there was so much in-fighting. I don't know how much less evil these kids were, but any little bit would have helped.

rupert had been fighting to get the "nice" ones removed from his will for a while, im guessing hes threatened to completely cut them off.
Well, to be fair...they were threatening to liquidate their share of the business, which would have resulted in his entire media empire getting chopped into little pieces. The overall state of the world would have been vastly improved if they had been serious.
But, I guess they were just holding out for a higher offer. Too bad.
I'm still hoping for a more Stardust way than a Succession way.
