Trump has been "sinking" trade negotiations with Canada every week with whatever excuse he makes up at that moment. He isn't negotiating. He's trying to force us to join his awful country. Why have an agreement anyway? The last one, that he negotiated and said was the best ever, he blithely ignored as soon as he wanted to. I expect he will honor all the new agreements in exactly the same way. There is a long line of contractors in the US that can attest to the fact that he never honours his agreements.
The only real emergency we are facing is the presidency of a convicted rapist fraudster who beats his wives and fucks children while fantasizing it is his daughter.
How does using tariffs to bully Brazil into leaving his fascist pal Bolsonaro alone, or bully Canada into helping Israel's genocide, fit into the emergency economic powers Trump claims to justify highjacking Congress' power of the purse?
It doesn't of course. This is a rhetorical question. But what's staggering here is, Trump's tariffs are blatantly, in-you-face-level illegal, and yet nobody even tries to stop him - let alone try him / impeach him / help him fall off a window at the top floor of the Trump tower Russia-stylee. The mind boggles...

Unfortunately, it's a bit of the other way around. Israel only exists at the pleasure of the United States. I've read somewhere that we're funding up to 70% of their economy right now.
The sad fact of the matter is, the United States doesn't care about the Palestinian cause or plight other than the bad press it's giving them.
Don't be fooled, the United States has always been in control of a situation, and it's simply choosing not to do anything.
The democrats took their chances of winning the election and wiped their ass with it instead of coming out and saying genocide is wrong.
Israel heavily funds both parties and most likely has extensive blackmail material on both, especially Trump.

Meanwhile, US brutalizes its own citizens with “healthcare” that’s unaffordable even with the insurance we get as part of the indentured slavery contract. Backwards priorities through and through, but what could you possibly expect from state sponsors of terror?
