Not sure if that was rather a movie writer thing, trying to imagine what a gay party looked like.
As before, sadly, I have no experience.
But what I saw on movies, common house party, loud music, few dudes on couch, drinks, booze cuddles. Front door rings, neighbours yet again called cops for our illegal, loud doings. The cops enter the home and started strips.
This, or either gay party members already know and even expect gay prostitutes in cop costumes are being called, then real cops shows up for party being too loud. The real cops gets no chance to do anything as are forced into the party, stripped and... and that never was a movie You may think of, next scene was about next day morning already.
You can see such gay-cop, or just oversexualized characters with police like caps, on music album covers or some video game characters too. Afaik that's some kind of top-bottom kink.

While "Die Polizei" as an institution is not AS bad as the US equivalent (and honestly, that would be quite a high bar), the institutional group-dynamics are strongly moving in the same direction and have attracted a (not really) suprising amount of authoritarian conservative or right-out right-wing people into their ranks, strengthening an inherent institutional anti-left, anti-immigrant and anti-poor bias.
It's not quite the same issue as in the US, (for example our Polizei get a great education in de-escalation and handling people without the use of force) but the institutionalized sentiments are increasingly dangerous and problematic.

There's just been videos of cops detaining pro-Palestine protesters in Germany.
One shows them separating and piling on a woman. One cop repeatedly punching her in the face with a fist while she's already on the ground.
Cops are bastards. All. No matter where.
What gave you that idea?? There are loads of cops in nazi whatsapp groups and all the others that just shut up about their bad colleagues.

IMO, the United States still very much has its hegemony. Although Trump has certainly damaged the United States's reputation...my government unfortunately still has tremendous power and money. For Christ's sake, we control the financial system.
My point is that a lot of the fucked-up stuff going on in the world is because of the US meddling in local affairs. For example, when the CIA toppled the government of because was popularly elected, and allowing even statist socialism to spread would be inconvenient for the American political project.
That, and a lot of governments play "follow the leader" with the US. So anything monstrous we do, other world leaders are going to follow eventually.

Superpowers cannot even defeat very small countries, like you guys lost against Syria, Thailand, Afganistan… The most recent example is Russia losing against Ukraine! Sure you have a lot of nukes, but almost all countries are in such alliances where through one way or another they are also protected by nukes + the international outrage if anyone used them would be so estronomical that even a deranged dictatorship like Russia doesn’t risk it

When I say ACAB, I am not necessarily weighing in on the individual character of all police officers (although often they do suck as individuals). What I mean is that the role that cops play in society is evil. The police are here to impose the will of the capitalist class on the working class every single day. Even if they follow protocols while doing it, even if individual cops rarely do "the right thing", even if the "good" cop in your head or your social network or family is otherwise an excellent person outside their police work, all cops are still cops and therefore categorically evil.
ACAB includes "good" cops because the police are a categorically evil institution.

Yeah you're living in Opposite World. Do you actually live in the US? I do, and I have for my entire life. Please look into the Epstein files, the Panama Papers, Elon Musk and DOGE and Donald Trump. You will see very quickly that protection of the rich from the consequences of their actions is the defining feature of the United States, regardless of which party is in power or who the figurehead is.

Firstly, I want to clarify that I did not mean to imply that people of color actually are more likely to jaywalk. I meant to make two connected points:
- The police use bullshit offenses like jaywalking to harass black and brown people.
- Jaywalking is historically one of those bullshit offenses, and it was specifically designed to entrench car-centric culture.
(1) is deep historical fact. Especially in America, the police are designed from the ground up to harass black and brown people because anti-black racism is foundational to every iteration of the United States.
For (2), here is the literal second paragraph of the Wikipedia article on jaywalking:

I'm currently reading a book called Our Enemies in Blue by Kristian Williams. Williams has created an incredibly detailed, nuanced, and well-cited book about the history of policing, obviously from an abolitionist standpoint. Of course I developed my views on police before starting this book based on my experiences, the news, and other sources, but it is still an enlightening read. Please add this to your reading list.

I'm not gonna dox myself, but I could be making thousands of dollars and be set for life if I told the military I wanted to work for them or a defense contractor in their R&D department. I have basically taken a vow of poverty to do peaceful research because I want to do something good for the world.
But even then, I 1000% do not subscribe to the notion that everyone needs to contribute to society. I got no problem if you want to just eat Doritos all day and do nothing. I'm all for it. I can build a machine that will do the "missing" work for us. What I do have a problem with is capitalists making our lives worse, making it detrimental to others to build that machine because you are forced to work to survive.

What is the point of community if you can never ask anything of it? The strength of community is precisely that you can lean on the community if you need help! This is why the capitalists in the US have fought so hard to break up communities.
And unlike other developed nations, we almost don't get things from our government. Infrastructure is falling apart, it's impossible to find cheap housing, education sucks, higher education is impossibly expensive even at public schools, the mental health system is gutted and impotent even for people who can afford it, healthcare is a complete disaster even for people who can pay for it... and to top it all off, Trump is pretty openly against the idea of the government doing anything non-violent for his citizens; see the Big Beautiful Bill.
So if the US government is considered representative of my society, which in my view it is not because no State is a legitimate representative of any society, but to be charitable if we assume that it is representative of my society, we get almost nothing from our society, so we owe them almost nothing in return.

Well yes, I choose the entity to whom I sell my labor. But the necessity of selling my labor at all is absolutely not voluntary in this current system! And as I previously alluded to, access to what you need to survive should be unconditional. You are a human, and you deserve to live whether or not you create value for society.
