This is what happens when you let children watch the Tate brothers.

[-] balderdash9@lemmy.zip 63 points 1 month ago

It's not surprising, we shouldn't be giving developing brains this much access to the internet. I promise you he did not think of doing this on his own.

[-] LodeMike@lemmy.today 24 points 1 month ago

Okay but this image is probably older than the Tate brothers being popularized.

[-] toppy@lemy.lol 10 points 1 month ago

The tate brothers are just waste. They brainwash kids and make them misogynist.

Boys will be boys is a saying for a reason. And I don't mean it in a positive sense in this instance

[-] BlackRoseAmongThorns@slrpnk.net 20 points 1 month ago

Taking a creep shot at that age is very much not a positive

[-] RaivoKulli@sopuli.xyz 1 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago)

No shit lol that's why I specified that, but managed to put in a pretty crucial typo. Fixed it now

[-] EldritchFeminity 14 points 1 month ago

While this is an old saying, misogyny and disrespect like this are learned behaviors, not naturally occurring.

This kid is, what, 12? And he's publicly talking on social media about how he thinks he's got the charm to get in his teacher's pants. Call it what it is: this kid has been groomed by "influencers."

[-] RaivoKulli@sopuli.xyz 4 points 1 month ago

Before influencers it was just the media, tv, movies, friends who made people delusional enough to have those notions

[-] EldritchFeminity 4 points 1 month ago

Yep, and I'd add family to the list. A lot of this stuff comes from how parents act around their friends as well, both in public and private.

It's the original definition of memes: information passed on outside of genetics.

[-] LodeMike@lemmy.today 3 points 1 month ago

Happy cake day!

[-] shneancy@lemmy.world 114 points 1 month ago

woah, that is future psychopath behaviour

[-] Justathroughdaway@lemmy.world 23 points 1 month ago

As someone who has this disorder I never knew this was a symptom, lol.

[-] Liz@midwest.social 20 points 1 month ago

Maybe you could categorize it under poor impulse control and poor understanding of social norms. But like, one incident doesn't make a diagnosis.

[-] shneancy@lemmy.world 13 points 1 month ago

& also add objectification of others, disregard of authority, narcissism, and slight delusions of grandeur (even after getting in trouble he still thought the teacher "wanted" him).

but yes you're right, one incident doesn't make a diagnosis, if i were this child's parent i'd start watching him closely though. becuase people with the antisocial personality disorder (commonly known as psychopathy) can lead normal lives, but they do need accommodation in the form of guidance and being taught coping skills

[-] Justathroughdaway@lemmy.world 86 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago)

As a straight woman, I've got to admit she's got one hell of an ass on her.

[-] sundray@lemmus.org 50 points 1 month ago

Ha ha (this kid's gonna end up in jail.)

[-] OutlierBlue@lemmy.ca 28 points 1 month ago

Nah, Trump will pardon him and give him a position in his cabinet.

[-] ZILtoid1991@lemmy.world 11 points 1 month ago

And republicans will create the "Let boys be boys" act, that will not only allow such behavior, but also tries its best to criminalize the callouts of this kind of behavior.

[-] frunch@lemmy.world 5 points 1 month ago

I can actually see this happening in the next couple years

[-] outhouseperilous@lemmy.dbzer0.com 5 points 1 month ago

Only if hes a fascist. Ms Rodriguez had better be from spain, if he wants that future pardon.

[-] RaivoKulli@sopuli.xyz 1 points 1 month ago

For some reason I assumed it was a Brit. I guess from the "for the boys"

[-] sirico@feddit.uk 49 points 1 month ago

Lad has a ceo future

[-] Delphia@lemmy.world 28 points 1 month ago

I mean... think it dont do it bruh. Also absolutely correct.

You know when the parents went for that meeting they also looked to be like "Well, is the boy at least justified in thinking "dat ass" was worth it.

[-] SpaceFox@lemmy.ml 11 points 1 month ago

I bet the dad was like; "Maybe me and Mrs Rodriguez should talk in private"

[-] Konstant@lemmy.world 23 points 1 month ago

Guess he learned nothing with the suspension

[-] aeronmelon@lemmy.world 16 points 1 month ago

Hope the kid was lying, because that’s a far bigger problem.

[-] hoshikarakitaridia@lemmy.world 16 points 1 month ago

But not as big as th-

I'm sorry

Your right. This was done by a pre teen but still what is it with teenage boys and sexual harassment? I remember as a high school student aged 17-20 a lot of the younger students would fetishize the idea of doing it with an older woman so I received a lot of unwanted attention. I asked out my literal 12-to-15 year olds. I got unsolicited dickpics through my Snapchat. I was given lewd comments/cat calls all the time. I was told I was a "baddie", "Thicc" and a "MIFT". I got my butt slapped, I had videos and pictures took of me without my consent and I was too afraid to do anything about it because I thought people would think I was being inappropriate or provoking them in some way.

Way to humble brag /s

In all seriousness, that must have been super uncomfortable. Its crazy how social pressures inform our perspective. I had the same thing happen to me, but I was raised as a dude. I was ecstatic that girls were into me, and was happy for the attention. It wasn't until I was older that I realized how absolutely fucked it was that girls waaaay older than me were sending me nudes, and girls younger than me who didn't even know my name yet were doing the same. Somehow I never sent a single pic, unless it was my cat. I loved my cat.

"Way to humble brag /s"

Well, I guess looking back they weren't wrong, lol. Except on the 'MILF' thing. Idk how a 17-to-20 year old girl could be a mother. Unless I was Mexican.

Teenagers are just great at sex crimes in general, aren't they.

[-] Allemaniac@lemmy.world 4 points 1 month ago

kids are cruel and usually lack any form of empathy, which is why they are "more direct". Empathy is taught later on. But, taking pictures, sending dickpics, cat calling you are manners and those should have been teached by their parents. This is vile behaviour and those parents should know what their children are doing at school, maybe partially because of the lack of parental education. I am sorry you had to go through that and feel that helpless about it.

[-] SpaceFox@lemmy.ml 1 points 4 weeks ago

Thank you for your understanding.

"teached by their parents."

What parents are teaching there kids to send dickpics and catcall?

[-] Allemaniac@lemmy.world 1 points 3 weeks ago

sorry if this was unclear, english is not my mother tongue. I meant pedagogy as a whole. Societal norms and manners and such. Not how to cat call a woman lmao

[-] Omnipitaph@reddthat.com 2 points 1 month ago

Hormones are one helluva drug xD I hope you're doing well now. As a someone who was sexually assaulted a few times growing up, I know that it can be difficult to shake.

I know plenty of Christian girls that didn't make it to 20 before getting knocked up, so I don't know if its just Mexicans lmao Lots of shotgun weddings!

Horny silly kid. 🤷😅
