Personal note: And let's not forget that the Guardian has been fine with pushing transphobia, so they contribute to the anti-queer sentiment that empowers anti-queer groups' attempts to censor books. Something the Guardian surely won't acknowledge any time soon...

Oh, yeah, I mean the British press is institutionally compromised - there's hardly a major outlet of any orientation which hasn't been gunning for trans people on the regular over the last few years.

That they don't address their own bigotry either reflects their complete lack of self-awareness, or that they maliciously wish to conceal their intentions with it.

Honestly, we elsewhere should cut the US off to the fullest extent possible. Utterly cancerous society, and I don't want the American brand of stupid religion-infatuated bigotry creeping over here.

No. No, fuck all the way off with that shit.

If you don’t know, people who can’t get a book banned when they challenge it with the established system will just “borrow” it to do whatever nasty things come to mind.

Please always help protect stories.

I'm sure this has everything to do with Americans that have too much free time on their hands and absolutely nothing to do with a certain batshit wealthy author or a completely complicit tabloid press.
