A year or so ago this would've been welcome news. But now the real world has become so appallingly dystopian I'm not sure there's much incentive to watch a TV show based on an appalling dystopia.
Kind of feels like in 20-30 years time we'll be claiming its worth fighting for a climate that doesn't immediately kill us if we go outside for 20 minutes instead of 15.
Or to put it another way, do these scientists not see there's a difference between living and surviving?

Proton is an org that exists in an industry whose customers do not trust easily. Publicly aligning with someone utterly untrustable, either as an individual or as a board, has tainted Proton and adversely affected peoples ability to trust. Satan Not Hatin' - our campaign to tackle hate and the far-right in alt music scenes such as metal, punk, goth, industrial etc has released a compilation album on Bandcamp called Contra Odium ("Against Hate") featuring the music of thirteen of the Satan Not Hatin' participants.
Proceeds from the album will be divided amongst participating Orders (UK, Sweden, Pittsburgh and Seattle) and in turn passed on in full to charities local to each Order:

Last week, our "Satan Not Hatin'" campaign - set up to challenge hate and far-right extremism in alt music scenes - welcomed it's 200th opt-in participant. That's 200 artists, bands, record labels, promoters, venues and other organisations not prepared to tolerate hate.
As well as the documentary on the project (which is still being shot), a Stockholm based radio show, Trigger, have announced they will be dedicating an episode to the campaign and playing bands that are participating!

It's amazing how many snowflake comedians start crying about being cancelled and then go on to have numerous netflix specials about it. Almost like they were never actually cancelled in the first place but they learnt that if they said they were enough times, the terminally dim people who enjoy their material will pay money to see their bully fantasies played out on stage by an old rich guy.

Just a reminder to my American friends that everyone was absolutely positive there was no way Trump would get elected in 2016. You sleptwalked into a near dictatorship because everyone agreed the idea that he could win was a big joke. There's very real possibility that a refusal to believe he can do it again will mean he does do it again. And if he does, I don't think it'll be a near dictatorship you have to live in.
As others have said, money is most of it.
But I also remember that what seems to have prompted his last few years of total unhinged behaviour was his daughter turning her back on him. That seemed to be the point of no return for him.
So there is part of me that thinks he wants to have access to and control over data. The whole nazi salute wasn't about money, it was about ideology and I think controlling data will allow him to go after communities of people as part his ideology.
