Elon Musk's approval rating is "falling through the floor" among Democrats, according to CNN's chief data analyst Harry Enten.
But he said Musk has improved with Republicans, going from -18 in 2017 to +51 in 2025.
"I have a clear mandate." 🤮
Shocking that the Republicans started liking him when he became more and more fascist and racist. They tell you all day long how we falsely accuse them of bigotry and racism, but they support it every last time.
Edit: I continue to love the one Lemmy maga who shows up to downvote any comment critical of the admin or Musk, but who never has the courage to disagree openly with anyone. That’s the odd thing about the stock market. Its value of a company is not on how much money it makes. That seems like something an efficient market would be able to determine.

Recent Fox News polling found just 40 percent of voters approved of the job Musk is doing with DOGE, while 58 percent disapprove.
And a CNN/SSRS poll found 53 percent of Americans hold an unfavorable opinion of Musk, while 35 percent view him positively.
It's weird that Fox would put out that news, I guess even they couldn't slow the ebb of disapproval of this guy.
Also, WTF - there was a large portion of Democrats who liked the guy? They're the ones mainly responsible for his drop in disapproval? He's as strong as ever amongst Republicans? What the actual fuck, America
Since it's Fox, they're polling likely fascist voters, so his "approval rating" is even worse if you poll non-braindead voters.

I approve of his low popularity but I don't approve of polls. Polls are just like Chicken Little (The Sky is Falling (no...it wasn't)) or The Boy Who Cried Wolf (there was no wolf).
...and that would matter if he was dependent on votes by an electorate. He is not.
This feels like the equivalent of
