If someone offered you a pair of these plain black boots for free, which would you pick and why?

I've never got the hang of high heels, I admire women who do. I'd go for top left because they're my kind of style, they'll go with loads of clothes I have. Alternatively I'd pick bottom left for my friend cos they're the standard style boots she wears for work.

Top left, because I'm clumsy and it's closest to my style.

Unfortunately I have fairly large feet so it's hard to find boots that fit.

Bottom left, because they're versatile and look like they wouldn't be terribly uncomfortable. I like top left, but I've already got something similar.

top left is also harder to fit with certain outfits, so I agree with you about bottom-left being the most comfortable and versatile.

Top right and bottom left. Don't like the others.

Same for me, except I do like the other ones on someone else. I feel like I have an alt character who wears knee highs and combat boots, but I never play as her. It's not that I have an urge that I lack the confidence to act upon. More like there are some garments I would rather dress someone else up in.

I love the knee high, but that heel is atrocious to look at. 🫣

Absolutely adore those.

Top left, just more of my style, I like to look scary.

I also am part witch.

To actually answer the question properly, top–right. EU size 43 please and thank you. Always wanted some boots with some really mean heels. Like heels they wouldn't let you take on a plane.

Could you walk in them? If so I'm in awe of you!

[-] hazl 5 points 1 month ago

Well this remains to be seen 😅. These are the highest, narrowest heels I own right now. I wanna push myself.

[-] CheeseToastie@lazysoci.al 3 points 1 month ago

Holy shit that's impressive!! Nice work.

Thanks ☺️

Check Zalando if available in your country. They have a wide selection of sizes.

Not available in Australia 😔. Thanks anyway, this would have been so amazing. I'll probably pay a mail forwarding service to send me something one day. It's my only option, it seems.

[-] PrincessKadath@ani.social 1 points 1 month ago

Oh. You mentioned EU size, that's why I assumed you were over here. 😅

I just find it the least confusing shoe size standard tbh. And the most precise. I squeeze into plenty of 42s, but my heels sure wish I didn't.

Certainly the first pair top left. I like to go shopping clothes and shoes with/for my wife. She prefers low heels, and not too narrow in the toes, so certainly the first pair if they are comfortable wear and quality like the OG Dr Martens from 25 years ago.

I'd pick top left because I do a lot of walking and also because the boots look durable. While I don't mind heeled boots, I would only wear them to dinner or some other event that calls for dressing a bit nicer and I don't do that often enough. The bottom left is just "eh" so I wouldn't pick it.

Top left or bottom left. Top left because I'm a Goth mommy and that fits my aesthetic. Bottom left because I've been dying for a pair like that but I can't find in my size.
