Is this a joke? What else could be under that tarp? It even has a little flap for the plug.

I feel my ability to understand satire is being attacked by reality.

And I checked the comments and its a mix of musk riding:

"I don’t understand how people get so easily manipulated into hating someone that has done so much to change our life’s. Elon is great man and is doing great things for our country and uncovering so much corruption and honestly he needs more credit"

or thinking this is a joke:

"That’s not hiding the fact that there’s a swastikar under it"

Dude should get this wrap.

[-] PunnyName@lemmy.world 33 points 4 months ago

That actually looks better. But it's still a swastikar.

[-] CHOPSTEEQ@lemmy.ml 15 points 4 months ago

It’s crazy how much less offensive it looks. I’m shook.

[-] aeronmelon@lemmy.world 25 points 4 months ago

Pre-rendered textures mapped onto simple polygons. Literally an N64 game model.

I guess this is the driver:

[-] BeardedGingerWonder@feddit.uk 7 points 4 months ago

Can't even wrap them, it destroys the bodywork.

[-] M0oP0o@mander.xyz 6 points 4 months ago

Not beating those "low-poly" accusations

That's got to be a Musk alt

[-] Michal@programming.dev 49 points 4 months ago

Now it just looks like it's joined KKK

Spending all that money on an automobile, and not bothering to park it in the garage.

[-] M0oP0o@mander.xyz 28 points 4 months ago

Wait, that place I put all my junk too good for outside but not good enough for in the house is for automobiles?

The garage only has space for two of my vehicles when empty anyway. Besides, how else are people going to keep tabs on how my project car is going? They need to know when it finally has wheels.

[-] noseatbelt@lemmy.ca 16 points 4 months ago

A friend of mine just bought a Toyota tundra and it's too long to fit in his garage. Honestly I never would have thought that'd be something you need to check first.

[-] Djfok43@lemmy.world 2 points 4 months ago

Omg that's so sad.. what will he do now?

[-] Cataphract@lemmy.ml 2 points 4 months ago

you just gotta have a friend drive it in rrreeeallllyyy fast.

But then his neighbors won't see how much he owes the bank!

[-] Brujones@lemmy.world 6 points 4 months ago

I mean, have you seen these things? It's entirely possible the monstrosity doesn't fit in the garage!

[-] IsThisAnAI@lemmy.world 2 points 4 months ago

Most trucks won't fit in an older garage build.

It's that thing really that long??? Jesus fuck

[-] SkyezOpen@lemmy.world 33 points 4 months ago

Pictures don't do them justice at all. They are hulking monstrosities in real life and it just doesn't really come across in pictures.

[-] coaxil@lemm.ee 7 points 4 months ago

Yeah crazy, this is the first time I have seen one and gone fuck that's stupid large. And at least here in Australia they won't pass our laws so I'm unlikely to ever see one. The thing just gets worse every time I look towards it hahaha

[-] kameecoding@lemmy.world 5 points 4 months ago

While it doesn't pass the laws in Europe either I have seen news article about one being imported into my country under some special loophoole law.

[-] billiam0202@lemmy.world 30 points 4 months ago

I don’t understand how people get so easily manipulated into hating someone that has done so much to change our life’s

  1. Not all change is good, you dimwitted simpleton.

  2. It's lives.

[-] PunnyName@lemmy.world 17 points 4 months ago

Shit, I forgot about "swastikar", I kept shouting "Nazi Car" at all the Teslas in DTLA today.

[-] Revan343@lemmy.ca 5 points 4 months ago

I'm partial to 'truckkk', but that obviously only works in text

[-] aeronmelon@lemmy.world 15 points 4 months ago

It might also be Saddam Hussain.

[-] Gluca23@lemmy.world 13 points 4 months ago

That thing is stupid big. Or he is a really small man, which could be the reason he bought that.

[-] missingno@fedia.io 12 points 4 months ago

OP is definitely shitposting. Honestly it's a pretty funny one!

[-] taiyang@lemmy.world 7 points 4 months ago

I wonder if you can apply something adhesive under the tarp and let it just sit overnight. There so many terrible things you can do under a tarp quickly and without anyone even knowing since the cameras are convered up.

[-] Bytemeister@lemmy.world 15 points 4 months ago

After sealing up cracks and drafts in my house, all I can say is one can of spray foam can cause unimaginable frustration.

Ziptie the trigger and chuck it under the tarp.

[-] Semi_Hemi_Demigod@lemmy.world 4 points 4 months ago

Take the trigger off and whack the valve real hard, like you dropped it off a shelf. Spray foam will get everywhere and it’s impossible to stop.

Ask me how I know.

[-] Bytemeister@lemmy.world 3 points 4 months ago

I know how you know.

[-] Vari@lemm.ee 7 points 4 months ago

You guys need to see his fb page. He’s clearly rage baiting and it’s working great for him

[-] roguetrick@lemmy.world 7 points 4 months ago* (last edited 4 months ago)

Man don't put a loose cover on it like that outdoors, it'll scratch the finish and cause it to rust! Oh wait, I guess it does that anyway.

[-] dohpaz42@lemmy.world 6 points 4 months ago* (last edited 4 months ago)

I mean if I were foolish enough to buy such an ugly, hideous, disgusting pile of garbage like the cyber “truck”, I’d be too embarrassed to admit it too. But then again, I guess if I were foolish enough to waste that much money, I’d be too foolish to feel shame.

[-] prole 2 points 4 months ago* (last edited 4 months ago)

Yeah I'm just imagining the feeling I get when I order a graphic tshirt with something nerdy or funny on it, then I get it and I'm like "I can't wear this shit in public, I'm a grown man! WTF was I thinking?!" but times 100000

Given that "existing outside" is harmful to it, I'm guessing that the covering is basically required.

[-] Elgenzay@lemmy.ml 5 points 4 months ago

Yes it's clearly satire

[-] collapse_already@lemmy.ml 5 points 4 months ago

Why did someone put a car cover on a dumpster?

[-] Kualdir@feddit.nl 4 points 4 months ago

He is the king of Telsa ragebaiting, he's looking EXACTLY for your reaction and has been doing so for years.

[-] Zier@fedia.io 3 points 4 months ago

Swastikka Tent optional.

[-] TwoBeeSan@lemmy.world 3 points 4 months ago* (last edited 4 months ago)

It is always small men.

(Mentality as well as stature before you @ me)

[-] TacoButtPlug@sh.itjust.works 3 points 4 months ago

I can't even tell what's conspiracy anymore

The world we live in isn't just dystopic, it isn't just stupid, trying to describe all the ways it sucks just makes for a really boring story.
