Is this a joke? What else could be under that tarp? It even has a little flap for the plug.

I feel my ability to understand satire is being attacked by reality.

And I checked the comments and its a mix of musk riding:

"I don’t understand how people get so easily manipulated into hating someone that has done so much to change our life’s. Elon is great man and is doing great things for our country and uncovering so much corruption and honestly he needs more credit"

or thinking this is a joke:

"That’s not hiding the fact that there’s a swastikar under it"

Now it just looks like it's joined KKK

Shit, I forgot about "swastikar", I kept shouting "Nazi Car" at all the Teslas in DTLA today.

[-] coaxil@lemm.ee 21 points 4 hours ago

It's that thing really that long??? Jesus fuck

[-] SkyezOpen@lemmy.world 11 points 1 hour ago

Pictures don't do them justice at all. They are hulking monstrosities in real life and it just doesn't really come across in pictures.

Dude should get this wrap.

[-] PunnyName@lemmy.world 17 points 3 hours ago

That actually looks better. But it's still a swastikar.

[-] CHOPSTEEQ@lemmy.ml 2 points 25 minutes ago

It’s crazy how much less offensive it looks. I’m shook.

Bots are cheaper than PR teams to employ

Spending all that money on an automobile, and not bothering to park it in the garage.

[-] noseatbelt@lemmy.ca 14 points 7 hours ago

A friend of mine just bought a Toyota tundra and it's too long to fit in his garage. Honestly I never would have thought that'd be something you need to check first.

[-] Djfok43@lemmy.world 2 points 5 hours ago

Omg that's so sad.. what will he do now?

[-] IsThisAnAI@lemmy.world 1 points 1 hour ago

Park in front. Use it for storage or a workout area or something.

[-] Djfok43@lemmy.world 1 points 1 hour ago

He can rent it.. to someone.. to live in.. LOL (if legal of course)

[-] M0oP0o@mander.xyz 22 points 8 hours ago

Wait, that place I put all my junk too good for outside but not good enough for in the house is for automobiles?

The garage only has space for two of my vehicles when empty anyway. Besides, how else are people going to keep tabs on how my project car is going? They need to know when it finally has wheels.

[-] Brujones@lemmy.world 6 points 6 hours ago

I mean, have you seen these things? It's entirely possible the monstrosity doesn't fit in the garage!

[-] IsThisAnAI@lemmy.world 1 points 1 hour ago

Most trucks won't fit in an older garage build.

[-] jodanlime@midwest.social 8 points 8 hours ago

But then his neighbors won't see how much he owes the bank!

[-] aeronmelon@lemmy.world 14 points 7 hours ago

It might also be Saddam Hussain.

[-] taiyang@lemmy.world 6 points 6 hours ago

I wonder if you can apply something adhesive under the tarp and let it just sit overnight. There so many terrible things you can do under a tarp quickly and without anyone even knowing since the cameras are convered up.

[-] Bytemeister@lemmy.world 13 points 6 hours ago

After sealing up cracks and drafts in my house, all I can say is one can of spray foam can cause unimaginable frustration.

Ziptie the trigger and chuck it under the tarp.

[-] missingno@fedia.io 12 points 8 hours ago

OP is definitely shitposting. Honestly it's a pretty funny one!

[-] livingcoder@programming.dev 5 points 7 hours ago

Given that "existing outside" is harmful to it, I'm guessing that the covering is basically required.

[-] Elgenzay@lemmy.ml 5 points 7 hours ago

Yes it's clearly satire

I mean if I were foolish enough to buy such an ugly, hideous, disgusting pile of garbage like the cyber “truck”, I’d be too embarrassed to admit it too. But then again, I guess if I were foolish enough to waste that much money, I’d be too foolish to feel shame.

[-] IsThisAnAI@lemmy.world 1 points 1 hour ago

Or you just never had the money in the first place. I'm willing to bet it's always been the latter.

[-] TwoBeeSan@lemmy.world 3 points 7 hours ago* (last edited 7 hours ago)

It is always small men.

(Mentality as well as stature before you @ me)

[-] Zier@fedia.io 3 points 8 hours ago

Swastikka Tent optional.

The world we live in isn't just dystopic, it isn't just stupid, trying to describe all the ways it sucks just makes for a really boring story.
