Shaka, when the walls said "fuck it, I just can't anymore"

Shaka, when the walls slid

Just a regular house in Tony Hawks Pro Skater.

[-] HakFoo@lemmy.sdf.org 33 points 5 days ago

The house was built by a 12 year old named Kyle.

They are compelled biologically to make bike ramps even if they've never seen a bike.

My wife isn't quite nerdy enough to get this yet, and my parents haven't watched TNG in so long they don't remember the phrase.

I have nobody who gets this in my life...

[-] The_Picard_Maneuver@lemmy.world 14 points 4 days ago

/c/tenforward understands you though.

[-] Aggravationstation@feddit.uk 7 points 4 days ago

I'm the only Star Trek fan in my friends group and family, my dogs now have a ridiculous amount of knowledge of Star Trek lore, they're the only ones who will watch it with me.

SARGE, his spouse confused, his parents lost.

It’s funny to remember that bricks used to be structurally relevant. Also, that’s a wild pattern on the broken windows. Looks like snowflakes

[-] acockworkorange@mander.xyz 7 points 5 days ago

Look at the fence near the building. You can tell this was skillfully done in a computer.

Neat! I figured some shenanigans were in place given how smooth everything was, but this being a real piece is even better!

[-] Graphy@lemmy.world 11 points 5 days ago* (last edited 5 days ago)

When I first saw it I immediately thought “that’d be a pretty cool piece I hope someone can move it to an outdoor exhibit”

Whoever did the brick work was fantastic, too bad the rest of the crew failed.

[-] beefbot 3 points 3 days ago

LOLIRL. Needed this, thank you

[-] Warjac@lemmy.world 6 points 4 days ago

If you can do a spine transfer into the top open part of the building you can find a secret tape.

[-] keinBloudsinn@lemmings.world 3 points 4 days ago

[-] deacon@lemmy.world 6 points 5 days ago

Reminds me of the old BEST showrooms. They were art pieces.

/c/TenFoward: Your home-away-from-home for all things Star Trek!

Re-route power to the shields, emit a tachyon pulse through the deflector, and post all the nonsense you want. Within reason of course.

~ 1. No bigotry. This is a Star Trek community. Remember that diversity and coexistence are Star Trek values. Any post/comments that are racist, anti-LGBT, or generally "othering" of a group will result in removal/ban.

~ 2. Keep it civil. Disagreements will happen both on lore and preferences. That's okay! Just don't let it make you forget that the person you are talking to is also a person.

~ 3. Use spoiler tags. This applies to any episodes that have dropped within 3 months prior of your posting. After that it's free game.

~ 4. Keep it Trek related. This one is kind of a gimme but keep as on topic as possible.

~ 5. Keep posts to a limit. We all love Star Trek stuff but 3-4 posts in an hour is plenty enough.

~ 6. Try to not repost. Mistakes happen, we get it! But try to not repost anything from within the past 1-2 months.

~ 7. No General AI Art. Posts of simple AI art do not 'inspire jamaharon'

~ 8. No Political Upheaval. Political commentary is allowed, but please keep discussions civil. Read here for our community's expectations.

Fun will now commence.
