Seems like a reasonable ask if they're worried for their safety.
I mean it's exactly what they voted for
I mean, those chucklefucks voted to eliminate funding for FEMA. Why are they being punished for proactively fulfilling the wishes of the citizenry?
Interesting that they were terminated, meanwhile, did that sheriff's deputy get fired? The one that said they won't help anyone with a Harris sign on their lawn? I didn't see Harris supporters talking about hunting those working out of a sheriff's office...
So sad that we have gotten to this level of us vs them. You see someone who needs your help would you ever even think of asking them who they voted for before helping them
The article doesn't mention that Armed Militias were actively hunting FEMA responders in North Carolina after hurricane Helene because of right-wing conspiracy theories. It's entirely possible that the context was, "avoid people with Trump signs, they might shoot you."
I would not knock on the door with a Trump sign or flag, unless it was a dire emergency, for just that reason.
Now? Yes. I'm tired of the moral high ground.
Bingo.
Daily reminder that the moral high ground is littered with corpses.
Uh, the chuds were threatening FEMA workers with violence.
LMAO
