"You are welcome, just don't be gay while you are here. Enjoy our beautiful country and observe the penalties for not doing so respectfully."

"We welcome international tourist money, don't worry; we'll only execute those in our own country too poor to avoid the law."

I feel like we need to start boycotting sportswashing by asshole countries.

LGBTQ+ are welcome now. There was some question if they would be able to hire enough executioners to cover the event, but Chick-Fil-A stepped up and helped out with a donation.

Well, given Qatar happened, I'm pretty sure people will still go anyway.

So question: How do you even get caught? Do they like have to catch you railing another guy or what?

I grew up shia, so maybe it's different, but there needs to be a certain number of witnesses to report. Easy excuse to prosecute anyone. Oh, also, women witnesses count as half as many for men...

Some local agent poses and pretends to flirt, then once they have proof of something, they plant some incriminating evidence and start torturing. For example in Qatar: https://www.advocate.com/news/qatar-gay-airline-torture-hiv

Can’t wait to see presidents and prime ministers of all our „woke” countries on the tribune.

I'd believe that LGBTQ+ fans are allowed in Saudi Arabia the day Hell freezes over. I have an easier time believing all the multi-billion dollar international companies around the world are going to disband of their own free will and give people the equivalent of $2 million USD.
