So you're saying there's a chance

Why the hell would you link to TikTok. I'm glad I read the URL first cause I almost clicked on it. What the hell were you thinking!?

It's okay to not like tiktok, but can you try to be a little nicer when sharing your opinion of it?

I think they were quite calm. Tiktok is cancer. And I'm not talking about the content.

I usually stay away from this kind of response but it seemed like the initial comment was needlessly aggressive to me.

It's not about calm, I can be calm and be a dick. It's about being nice. I mod flagged the reply because the user is not from around here and may not have bothered to read our single rule, which is to be nice. This reminder applies to you as well now. Be nice around here.

Probably because it is the primary source for this story; it is literally Wayne's personal account.

I'm sure you can find a TMZ article if that's more your style.

This isn’t Twitter. With all respect, you need to bee-have better.

Cool, it's nice when older people come out because it's a sign that times are changing for the better, despite the right trying to shove everyone back in the closet.

I just feel bad that people go through so much of their life suppressing an important part of themselves, it really is a kind of deeply personal theft committed against them by the people in their life who kept them pushed in the closet through explicit or implicit bigotry. Such a waste of life that could be lived happier.

I was introduced to Wayne Brady through Chappelle's Show :) I like his coming out, and the thoughtful message he gave. As a wealthy, middle-aged Black celebrity and comic, I think he may be quite influential in opening others' minds and hearts. Also, I'm glad there's a text summary here, because I'd never visit TT

Is Wayne Brady gonna have to choke a bitch?

[-] Nechesh@beehaw.org 8 points 1 year ago

Thank you for the reminder of that amazing skit! I may have to rewatch it!

I would recommend watching Whose Line Is It Anyway from the era where he was a performer. Timeless, classic comedy.
