My exposure to these badgers was a "banana phone" music video, so I always hear that when I see them πŸŒπŸ“±

[-] Rhaedas@fedia.io 19 points 2 years ago

Huh, a gif with sound. Now it won't stop.

[-] BearOfaTime@lemm.ee 17 points 2 years ago

Damn you, beat me to it. And now I have that song in my head.

[-] Bishma@discuss.tchncs.de 8 points 2 years ago

Thank you. The further I scrolled down the comments without a reference, the more uncomfortable I felt.

And the bottom one applies more to the woman than the cat.

[-] Damage@feddit.it 10 points 2 years ago

One of them has war paint, the other got drenched while changing the car's oil

[-] SynopsisTantilize@lemm.ee 7 points 2 years ago

And the wife is yelling about dinner getting cold. He's got 10 bolts on the ground but has no idea why there are only 9 threaded holes for bolts. And hey wait....he's changing the oil, what could he possibly have taken 9 bolts off of.

I'm pretty sure the thing on the left is a Wolverine. There are definitely badgers in North America that look a lot like the one on the right.

Haha. From the preview, I thought it was a duck. 🐍indeed.

[-] brossman@infosec.pub 18 points 2 years ago

european badgers are the friendly ones from redwall abbey

[-] some_guy@lemmy.sdf.org 17 points 2 years ago

Prolly the European ones have healthcare.

[-] lightnsfw@reddthat.com 16 points 2 years ago

Everyone knows European badgers live in a volcano forging weapons for their rabbit army.

[-] HexesofVexes@lemmy.world 15 points 2 years ago

Badger on the left just saw his healthcare bill. Badger on the right ate some bad beans and is contemplating the nature of regret.

[-] moncharleskey@lemmy.zip 2 points 2 years ago

Ooooh, red snapper! Very nice!

[-] BearOfaTime@lemm.ee 7 points 2 years ago

That's just so you're oblivious to what's about to happen.

Scared prey doesn't taste as good.

[-] collapse_already@lemmy.ml 7 points 2 years ago

Where is the African badger in this discussion?

(Not giving a fuck)

[-] aluminium@lemmy.world 6 points 2 years ago

[-] ivanafterall@lemmy.world 19 points 2 years ago

The badgers, too.

[-] Fermion@feddit.nl 5 points 2 years ago

Wisconsinites are proud to look like the one on the left.

[-] Alpha71@lemmy.world 4 points 2 years ago
[-] finitebanjo@lemmy.world 2 points 2 years ago

The American Badger doesn't look like that but it is absolutely representative of how they act.

[-] doingthestuff@lemmy.world 2 points 2 years ago

Now let's compare European and Australian native wildlife. Europe just has been beating their native populations down for millennia. No surprise they're embracing all of the societal controls.
