Yeah, sign them up for alll the insurance quotes, healthcare help and home renovation contacts you can find.

Fill those fuckers inboxes with unintelligible voicemails to sift through and unknown callers.

As long as you don’t slowly walk or away from the burning building, you should be fine. IANAL

Yeah, and they should offer one in purple for Maniac Mansion fans too.

Dead or fully brain dead. So many Alzheimer’s symptoms and he’s about to turn 80. It goes fast once it starts (and it probably started 10 years ago).

Depends on how cheap the drywall is.

You may avoid brain damage, but your get cancer form the dust on the way through.

Same here. VW Heritage parts has a decent selection for the cars I work on. And for T3 (Vanagon here in the US), there are a bunch of domestic parts suppliers, same for air cooled Porsches and VWs (Beetles, Buses, Things, Dune Buggies).

I’m also rebuilding a 64 Chevy truck for a client, and almost every body panel is available from Taiwan, though so far Auto Metal Direct (AMD) has had the best out of the box fit. Some cheaper panels look like they were designed by a blind man wearing baseball mitts.

Are the left 2 Lada based or something?

And the one in the right doesn’t look like any ford I’ve seen. Especially the coilovers!

This stands in contrast to the Republican party of today which ~~is almost entirely dogmatic in its beliefs.~~

Doubles down even when anything it believes is shown to be patently false/immoral/illegal.

No chillitos in all of New England either, gotta go to NYC for the closest, then Ohio or NC.

I was in Cadillac MI last summer, regrettably ate at a Taco Bell, and didn’t even know I could have gotten one! It was the first run to the border I’d made in years too!

Sat up all night in a wind storm with cramps afterwards. 0/10

It’s actually a really impressive bit of engineering and craft. Making the doors work around the back wheel wells because of the extreme chassis shortening is difficult work.

Also the fuel tank, drive shaft, exhaust, brake lines, and wiring all had to be modified to work too. Even the parking brake would have had to be changed to keep working.

Uh oh, do they have to vote through Huston?

If so, there might have a … problem.

I’ll see myself out.

on news of Trump saying he wasn't going to sell.

Can the rubes really be that dumb, or was it all just foreign bribe money looking for an excuse to buy in?

Still not sure why it was right hand drive though.

Side rear view in comments.

“Testarossa” vent sticker detail in comments.

Never liked the 3 spoke wheels at the time, but kinda fun to see nowadays.

Had the perfect vanity plate too!

I’ll post a couple more pics in comments.

Technically it's a 90s car (discuss.tchncs.de)

It’s a 1991 VW Multivan so it came with a poptop, and a cabinet in the back (so it has a weird L shaped downstairs bed), but no kitchen, just seating for 8 with two backwards facing jump seats.

It is very much 1980s technology (especially the convoluted ignition and injection system that still managed to act like a carburetor on cold starts). Everyone who approaches it at gas stations and parking lots always asks what year it is, then they look confused when it starts with a 9.

Both tapping to read and tapping the check box in the messages view fails to make unread messages as read.

Also unable to post, my instance signed in properly and I can post from Voyager with the same login just fine.
