During an interview that aired Thursday on Real America's Voice, Trump sought to lower expectations for his debate performance. He argued that Biden should take a drug test before the event.

"They're going to feed him a lot of stuff, and we should do a drug test," he demanded. "I'd love to do a drug test beforehand."

Somebody needs to drug test Trump. Projection at it’s finest.

It won't matter.

"Brandon obviously used soros's deep state to fake his results. And it doesn't matter if someone is on drugs because that is our God given right and everyone should have enough ketamine and coke in their body to kill a dozen horses"

The Left constantly makes that mistake. chuds have no shame.

I'm perfectly happy with both of them taking one (assuming it's administered by a neutral third-party). No reason to give the orange turd more ammunition to lash out if the tests are one-sided.

[-] Snowclone@lemmy.world 18 points 1 year ago

A sitting resident can't have their blood accessed by a third party. It is forbidden. They only the secret services personal blood handler may do so. Behind triple creme bunker walls.

[-] JWBananas@lemmy.world 14 points 1 year ago

This is the kind of thing you want to Google to verify, but not enough to end up on a list.

[-] MindTraveller@lemmy.ca 5 points 1 year ago

I googled it and could find no relevant results. Seems made up

[-] Snowclone@lemmy.world 3 points 1 year ago

You are correct. I made it up. Also I didn't proofread it. I also might have been on drugs. Either too many, or not enough.

[-] Viking_Hippie@lemmy.world 71 points 1 year ago

Classic unnecessary hedge of a narcissist.

No matter how badly he's trounced, his cult following will scream to the heavens that he won handily.

In spite of knowing this and in spite of the fact that losing a debate on purpose makes ABSOLUTELY no sense no matter how you look at it, he just can't handle anyone, even his most ardent critics, knowing that he's not infallible 🤦

[-] MindTraveller@lemmy.ca 3 points 1 year ago

Donald Trump isn't asexual!

"I was only pretending to be retarded!"

It doesn't really work for internet contrarians when they get put on blast for having shit opinions on political forums, but why the fuck is it actually working in real life?

Trump is so embarrassing that I don't see how anybody can actually genuinely like the guy. Is his only redeeming quality at this point just the fact that he enrages everyone left of center? Because aside from that and grifting money from people, he doesn't seem to stand for much else.

[-] Dkarma@lemmy.world 5 points 1 year ago

You know when you work with someone and they get attractive over time? That's basically the right and trump.

They also see themselves in him.

That is such a great line because it is exactly what everybody wants to personally say to Convicted Felon and Sex Offender Treason Trump

Such a technique! Only a true master of the Face-to-Foot style could pull this off on an international broadcast.

I_was_only_pretending.jpg

Seriously though, what a terrible argument.

[-] kylie_kraft@lemmy.world 26 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago)

That's because it's not an argument. He's presupposing the frame that his rabid supporters are going to use, which is he only lost because he was goofing on the sham debate on purpose. He knows that his base is ride or die, and whatever he does on the debate stage isn't going to change that. He's explicitly giving them the line to use.

[-] nilloc@discuss.tchncs.de 5 points 1 year ago

And it’s the line they’ll push to right wing media to convince the casuals that Trump is still ok to vote for. They’re doing the same thing with his convictions. And even Hunters conviction is being twisted to fit their corrupt DOJ bullshit.

[-] Kolanaki@yiffit.net 39 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago)

lol "on purpose."

Wimp Lo energy.

"Ha ha! I am bleeding. Making me the victor!"

[-] Brunbrun6766@lemmy.world 34 points 1 year ago

He's probably going to back out

Can anyone show me the most recent political debate that had a winner or a loser? Because that's obviously not how any of this works.

[-] SkyezOpen@lemmy.world 6 points 1 year ago

Obviously my side won.

Also boebert got wrecked in her latest primary. It was awful I love it.

[-] Beaver@lemmy.ca 19 points 1 year ago
[-] Treczoks@lemmy.world 14 points 1 year ago

Of course he is saying that he will be losing the debate on purpose. He knows that he will lose any real debate, so by pre-announcing this, people might actually believe he did this on purpose.

[-] comradegreetingcard@lemmy.ml 14 points 1 year ago

Sure you will, big guy

[-] magnetosphere@fedia.io 12 points 1 year ago

[-] Fedizen@lemmy.world 11 points 1 year ago

[-] str82L@lemmy.world 9 points 1 year ago

Guess he's the latest to be sick of so much winning.

[-] retrospectology@lemmy.world 6 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago)

Watching these two old fucks sweat and strain to have a coherent debate while some corporate journalist moderator stammers in the background is probably the last thing I'd ever want to do.

[-] Dkarma@lemmy.world 8 points 1 year ago

Wtf you talking about? Biden kicked ass at the last debate.

i mean, him trying to lose means, i assume, he'll be even more rambunctious and off the cuff, meaning in public opinion it'll be a resounding win

[-] Exeous@lemmy.world 5 points 1 year ago

I let you win, I no lose
