The woman who threw a milkshake over Nigel Farage is a Labour-supporting adult model, it can be revealed.

Victoria Thomas-Bowen, 25, previously shared a picture on Facebook with the caption: “Vote Labour for the many not the few”.

And the mother-of-one also regularly publishes raunchy pictures on adult sites and her social media sites.

She said of the incident: "He doesn't stand for me.

"He doesn't represent anything I believe in, or any of the people around here. He doesn't represent us, he's not from here."

...

The young blonde woman hurled a cup of banana milkshake at the new Reform UK leader as he left the Moon and Starfish pub in Clacton, Essex.

...

Thomas-Bowen, from Clacton, Essex, was arrested on suspicion of assault and taken into custody.

"Unmasked". She threw a milkshake on him in broad daylight with photographers around. This dumbass headline makes it sound like a dastardly plot has been revealed by Detective Holmes. She's a different party from him, she doesn't like him, and she expressed her dislike, in as public a way as possible. Ooohhh, good job with the fieldwork on that one, Express.

Well, there was a theory that she was the gf of Reform researcher. The two look quite similar, but it's mostly because they're both blond and 25ish.

[-] sirico@feddit.uk 23 points 5 months ago

We're still real journalists guys we are mum said so

[-] sigmaklimgrindset@sopuli.xyz 5 points 5 months ago

The Express never had real journalists, even during the print news heyday.

So this story is, "woman who threw a milkshake at a right-wing populist is not in favor of right-wing populists".

I'm glad we got that sorted out.

[-] thehatfox@lemmy.world 51 points 5 months ago

Well it shuts up the conspiracists claiming Farage had himself milkshaked by a Reform supporter as some of 5d chess false flag thing I suppose.

[-] echodot@feddit.uk 24 points 5 months ago* (last edited 5 months ago)

I never believe that. No one in the reform party is that bright. It requires at least six IQ points to come up with a plan that advanced.

[-] bizarrocullen@lemmy.world 5 points 5 months ago

You forgot to add 'sexy'

[-] frankPodmore@slrpnk.net 74 points 5 months ago

The whole internet loves Milkshake Lady, a lovely lady that throws milkshakes at Nazis! 5 seconds later We're delighted to inform you she also publishes raunchy pictures on adult sites

It's like she is all the Express' horrors made flesh - a single mother, who posts raunchy snaps online and quotes Corbyn.

My major concern comes via the Mirror:

The 25-year-old mum-of-one describes herself as a 'video creator' on her Instagram profile and also posts links to an Onlyfans page.

Have we escaped Reddit only to encounter Onlyfans spam in the general election?

[-] swayevenly@lemm.ee 36 points 5 months ago

So far I like the content she makes.

[-] Emperor@feddit.uk 23 points 5 months ago

[-] Beefytootz@lemmy.world 9 points 5 months ago

I much prefer OnlyFans spam over Farage’s gurgling nonsense any time.

[-] livus@mander.xyz 7 points 5 months ago

Does nothing to dispell the impression that their readership is collectively unzipping.

So some people (like myself) were thinking this was all a publicity stunt by Farage. Now I'm leaning toward this was just a publicity stunt by an actress and that shit-stain Farage only benefited from it.

[-] futatorius@lemm.ee 5 points 5 months ago* (last edited 5 months ago)

"Actress" is being overly kind. She's on OnlyFans.

Impressive throwing arm, though.

General Discussion for politics in the UK.
Please don't post to both !uk_politics@feddit.uk and !unitedkingdom@feddit.uk .
Pick the most appropriate, and put it there.

Posts should be related to UK-centric politics, and should be either a link to a reputable news source for news, or a text post on this community.

Opinion pieces are also allowed, provided they are not misleading/misrepresented/drivel, and have proper sources.

If you think "reputable news source" needs some definition, by all means start a meta thread. (These things should be publicly discussed)

Posts should be manually submitted, not by bot. Link titles should not be editorialised.

Disappointing comments will generally be left to fester in ratio, outright horrible comments will be removed.
Message the mods if you feel something really should be removed, or if a user seems to have a pattern of awful comments.

!ukpolitics@lemm.ee appears to have vanished! We can still see cached content from this link, but goodbye I guess! :'(
