General Discussion for politics in the UK.

Pick the most appropriate, and put it there.
Posts should be related to UK-centric politics, and should be either a link to a reputable news source for news, or a text post on this community.
Opinion pieces are also allowed, provided they are not misleading/misrepresented/drivel, and have proper sources.
If you think "reputable news source" needs some definition, by all means start a meta thread. (These things should be publicly discussed)
Posts should be manually submitted, not by bot. Link titles should not be editorialised.
Disappointing comments will generally be left to fester in ratio, outright horrible comments will be removed.
Message the mods if you feel something really should be removed, or if a user seems to have a pattern of awful comments.

My major concern comes via the Mirror:

"Very funny" and "Dead Ringers" do not belong in the same sentence. They are very good at the impressions I agree but they're not good jokes.
All that jokes are on the level of, Oh what would Truss say oh I know "I knoooooow", yeah comedic genius
They're hardly good at impressions, either. Everyone from north of Essex has the same voice, and they have to announce who everyone is when they start talking as if it's The Archers.
Unpopular opinion: in the right subs, I had no qualms with the OF spam. If the models were prepared to join in the theme of the sub, then it was content.
