I have been the target of a surprised vulture's vomit while being completely unaware of its presence in the tree above me. That was one of the most miserable experiences I've ever had. I look up much more often now.

Oh come on, what have the vultures ever done for us!?

They prevent the spread of deceases? Well, yes, of course, but beside the many lifes they've saved, what have the vultures ever done for us?

The turkey vulture is also one of, if not the most graceful flying animal.

It's neat to see the sheer majesty that nature is capable of on soaring display - and then sometimes get to contrast that with how hideous they look up close.

Fun fact: vultures can eat dead stuff thanks to super acidic tummies. Battery acid in there!
