The 2022 one is honestly so ironic, because most governments who dictate head coverings for women are led by far-right religious nationalists. Not unlike the far-right christian nationalists we see in the US today.
Also ironic because it looks like a gaiter mask, which I only ever saw being worn by right-wing dingbats.

I use one but its more my mask of last resort like if I pop in a gas station.
I used one until I found out how useless they were. I thought a lot of the "fun" mask ideas worked better with a gaiter.
But after those first couple months - yeah, only worn by "look I'm wearing a mask, leave me alone" types or "I don't want people to see my face while I stroke my AR15 at the minimum legal distance from this polling location" types.
C'mon, have a little respect for other cultures. The preferred vernacular is cosplatriots.
