I feel like I'm being dumb, but is that some kind of razor in the second panel? I've never seen one like that
It’s a straight razor. This is what people used before safety razors were invented. Still popular in barbershops and with folks that enjoy the challenge for an old school vibe.
Ahh but I was getting the impression there's a purple plastic covering on it (whenever I've seen straight razors it's just pure metal)? So initially I thought it was some kind of exfoliation tool or a type of razor I'd never seen before
