I have these forehead creases/wrinkles that give me a ton of dysphoria. I feel like they make me look super masc whenever I make any kind of expression.

I wanted to get bangs and just hide them, but I have a kinda strong widows peak and bangs won’t work according to a hair stylist I talked to. I’ve heard about making a habit of various creams, but the explanations are kind of vague. They just say collagen cream or peptides and I don’t trust search results when I look for stuff like that.

So does anyone with a widows peak have any ideas about managing bangs or does anyone with similar wrinkles have any recommendations for clearing them up?

I mean not to give the game away but i has the forehead wrinklies and a bitch of a widows peak 😂

I seems to get by fine, it can be a bit stressful being in wind, but nonetheless gotta power through it. Im also of the mind that id rather have bangs than bare forehead so totally get where youre coming from.

Maybe talk to a different stylist? Or definitely branching out into different hair products @Nikki@lemmy.blahaj.zone has great hair and has had advice for it before so maybe she'll grace us with her presence (sorry bout the ping nikki 😂)

If nothing else theres always wigs! I never really wore them out but i totally did get a few just to see the styles of hair i would want the most, and i think i can achieve it naturally, despite genetics.

You got this and i believe in you! ❤️

depends how bad your widows peak is tbh, I used to have a pretty bad one and bangs still worked well. wind is always an issue reguardless!
