Hey all! I was wondering what are / were some intrusive thoughts you had?

For me and the reason why I ask, is because I just opened my tool storage to grab a broom. I saw my collection of sand paper and the electric grinder there and thought ‘Hmmm I wonder if you could sandpaper the legs to be suuuuuper smooth and hairless?’.

I did not give in - sanity was restored in time, buuuut that made me wonder what weird and intrusive thoughts you all might have had.

Guess I buy some wax for the legs then :-/ stupid hair keeps growing back..

Yeah, I get them here and there. Not usually an issue unless you're prone to giving in to them.

As for legs, you may try a cheap IPL gun. That's how I got rid of hair on my legs, arms, and chest. Hair grows in cycles and it never truly goes away unless you really damage the roots good like with electrolysis. Even with that, some will show up here and there after months or years in other follicles that weren't visible at the time or weren't damaged enough.

IPL is only really effective on the thicker, darker hair and only if you have lighter skin. And while it's less painful than electrolysis, there is some pain, but waxing has pain, too. Just have to be careful to shave well before using it so there's no hair above the skin which can cause burns. And you have to do it often at first and then touch up over time. But it was a game changer for me without being as expensive as laser or electrolysis treatments. I did some laser and electrolysis on the face and the genital area for my bottom surgery, but mostly because insurance helped with the cost. Electrolysis is very time consuming since it's one hair at a time, so for large areas like legs it didn't seem worth it.
