I thought laser also was for a while but not permanent
There are different types of lasers (Diode, Alexandrite, Ruby, Nd:YAG) and there is a tech called IPL. The latter is sometimes called laser, too, but some report it's way less effective. It depends on skin tone and hair color. Gray, blonde and red hairs might need Electrolysis instead.
If you do one laser session it's for a while, yes, but if you do it often enough once every six weeks (hair growth cycle), it's permanent.
the moustache area, front legs, and groin are the most painful, but the rest is relatively OK.
make sure you get someone who listens to you, when you say 'stop' to pause a bit like 20 sec, and who has ice compresses ready to put on your skin.
