Would this change anything? How many conservatives dream secretely or openly to lower the age of consent to the low teens, and how many men would secretely or openly admire enviously his sexual prowess if it was confirmed he fucked their dream girls?
Yes, they should release the Epstein files, but they will likely be more wunderwaffe than munition against Trump.
I dunno, maybe I'm in the minority here (hope not) but I don't ever recall hearing about any child rapist/molester - regardless of the depths of their depravity, how prolific they were/are, etc. - and thinking "wow, they must be an absolute sexual tyrannosaurus rex; I should subscribe to their newsletter"... Like, there isn't an amount of nine year olds you can pay/coerce/cajole/force into sex (which, again, is by definition rape as minor do not possess the ability to consent) that is somehow going to impress me. Or anyone who isn't a piece of shit, for that matter.
So... That's a pretty weird point to make, honestly...
You nailed the problem with the Eppstein files: they are about teenage abusers, not child rapists. His victims were teenage girls, not children.
Following the recent trend to view teenagers as children, you are already perceiving Trump as a pedophile child rapist. The release of the Eppstein files will not change this, I assume.
Following the traditional view that teenagers are adults-in-training, and should be allowed to work and marry, conservatives will not be put off by accounts of sex with young women they think fit for marriage. They might condemn it as immoral, of course, but they already accepted/ignored/forgave Trumps immorality. Would the release of the Epstein Files change their stance on him? I doubt it.
Ok, buddy... Try that argument out on the cops when you get busted for having nudes of teenagers on your phone... "The traditional view is that teenagers are adults-in-training; I was clearly just allowing them to gain valuable adult experience."
I bet the judge would absolutely adore that argument. I'm sure they'd see things your way.
