Switching over to healthier snack foods, as you suggest, was a big help for me as well.

For example, I managed to wean myself off of potato chip style snacks by replacing with trail mix.

Obviously this will not work (at all, or as well) if you have some kind of nut allergy...

But for me, you're getting the salt, you're getting the crunch... you're getting way way more calories per volume, so you don't need as much, it actually fills your stomach... and you're getting protein and other nutrients, as well as maybe a bit of fiber if it includes like raisins or maybe chex pieces or something.

The downside to a straight switch to trail mix is that you will now literally shit bricks.

So, pair it with some real, actual fiber, a salad made from a mix of veggies, baby carrots, celery if you are a rabbit / masochist... or even maybe metamucil or some kind of fiber supplement mixed in with your drink flavoring or what not, maybe get a blender or bullet type mini mixer, and make some smoothies.

I also switched over from uh, like little debbie cake type things... to just muffins.

A muffin is a dessert, more or less, is how I began to teat them, a minature cake.

Most grocery stores have a bakery that makes some on site, also same with a deli or whatever, that may make sandwiches or some kind of refrigerator (not frozen) safe microwaveable meal... these will often be more freshly made, less hyper processed, and not too much more expensive than a frozen meal from the same store, sometimes even cheaper than some brands.

Anyway, yeah, hummus is also a great suggestion to pair with munching on many kinds of affordable veggies =D

I personally just tend to not like its taste... that often, that regularly.

My new favorite snack is baby portobellos dipped in hummus

... I've not tried that.

Maybe now I will, thank you!

Welcome to femcel memes. A place where anybody can post memes that fit the vibe.

Warning: We have a tendency to post things that may at times come from a self-deprecating perspective or things that are funny coming from another queer person. This space will always be a safe place for transfems, non-binary people, people with a feminine gender expression (GNC or otherwise) or anybody else in the LGBT Community to come together and share about our experiences but we truly feel that laughing about the sometimes silly and embarrassing parts the queer experience can help bring us together. We never mean offense or harm in anything posted but rather they are satirical takes coming from queer people.

A note about 'Egging': Our community is mostly made up of transfem individuals, and as such most memes posted will be posted with the intention of having a transfem perspective. However, regardless of gender identity, all feminine presenting individuals are welcome here. Whether that means you're NB, GNC, transmasc, or any other identity, you are welcome here. It is not our intention or goal to invalidate these identities. If something makes you uncomfortable, please feel free to report the post and I will address your concerns on an individual level.
