Too soon to say but spine growth in the dems?
nah, opportunistic as ever. Main goal here is to stick it to republicans not some "principles"
They think the Epstein thing might actually stick this time. They're trying to use that as best they can. Any party would do that
It might be a strong move for once though. Time will tell.
I'm going to ask a honest question because I don't know the answer. If Trump's name is on the list, why didn't Dems release it when Biden was in office? Yes I know that's a question the right has been asking but I don't know the answer to it.
Because I don't care who's on the list, Republican or Dem. They all deserve prison
Not sure if Biden/dems have given a reasom yet. I believe, typically, the official reason they keep this files secret is they may still intend to take legal action in the future.
Unofficially, Biden's AG Merrick Garland really did not go hard against Trump. They let him get away with an attempted coup, not sure if that was at Biden's request or if Garland persuaded him not to.
Farfetched theory on my part but Biden really tried not to stir the waters, I feel, to avoid a civil war.

Because Biden respected the law. The Epstein files were sealed by a judge until after Maxwell's trial. They weren't unsealed until January of this year. Biden, by law, couldn't release the files.
Along with what Salty said, it also almost certainly implicates some of the DNC's donor class. At this point, it's too big of a win to not go with it and too big of a loss to go against it though. I don't know if there's any amount of money that could get the majority of Democrat representatives to stick their necks out and go against it.

that aint happenin, the loyalty trump demands of his ppl is a double edged sword, if he goes under they go with him. Some second grade ppl will try to cling onto by pretending trump was never the driving force but they are doomed to fail. If trump goes under the reps are done for for a while.
GOP are either dumb enough to try or just smart enough to know it's their only option. While I agree with your assessment of the facts I still think the GOP is trying to have its cake and eat it to with regards to getting rid of trump while keeping his base.
If they can walk this tightrope until ICE finishes establishing themselves as the national gestapo... they might be able to keep the MAGA train rolling after trump kicks the bucket.

high horse? Hardly. Not having principles and being opportunistic is how they lost last election. Sitting on their hands all this time approving republican bills is a confirmation to that. Epstein has ZERO impact on average worker at this point. Yes criminals have to be in jail and human trafficking is a disgust. However this will affect lives of hundreds while millions are still not protected and Democrats have no intent of protecting working class. Biden flirted with more pro-worker stance and with Haris things were back to status quo. So no, my friend no high horse, just looking realistically.

More pacifying, look how happy everyone is that we scored a major upset... In my opinion, they're going to Mueller Report this and attempt to sweep it under the rug just like they did the Russian Collusion.
Only if we keep disciplining them. Which is why it is important to say this is a good thing but keeping their current leadership is a bad thing, both in regards to accountability.
