I personally do not trust the conservatives or Poilievre to lead us, especially at a time like this. Why would someone who's screaming at the top of his lungs that we'll never be the 51st state meet with U.S. healthcare billionaires in January of this year? That smells of privatization of our national healthcare to the U.S. No thank you. https://www.ndp.ca/news/reality-check-what-did-poilievre-promise-private-health-care-billionaires-last-night

And I have no idea if this is true, but I keep seeing his net worth. How did a career politician gain so much vast wealth from a job that doesn't pay a whole lot in the grand scheme of things. https://www.lawyersclubindia.com/wealth/pierre-poilievre-net-worth/

Either he's really good at investing, or the trickle down effect is working from the oligarchs down to the people that want him to do things for him. He's got a lot of real estate which is a conflict of interest based on his previous position. This is the man who keeps blaming the liberals on the housing crisis, yet he was housing minister and did a piss poor job of it.

He's for the oligarchs and the U.S. style government. https://cupe.ca/pierre-poilievre-it-banks-billionaires-and-big-polluters-not-you

I don;t know if Carney is the ideal candidate overall, but between everyone I feel he has the best experience to lead us forward. Not being a politician in my opinion might be the best way to move forward. He has experience both on the Conservative, Liberal and global scale of working with countries and governing bodies.

He wants to live like common people. He wants to see whatever common people see.

— he’s never paid any tax, so he obviously wants to live vicariously with the eyes of the poors. Not as one though, just wants to get closer to understanding them by looking at their tax returns, illegally.

Put a moron in charge, get the outcome you deserve. It’s everyday at this point I’m glad I’m not American. What a dangerous place to live.

Guarantee that’s not going to happen. In fact with all the savings from the other more critical services being defunded, Elon will have more money for his own projects.

Good! Trumps MAGA Project 2025 is going to find out what happens when you fuck with Canadians.

Your tariffs are going to only enrich the top oligarchs more and steal from the average joe, but Canadas the problem.

So are we able to get business to turn those existing plants into plants that can build Asian or European cars over here? Might be an opportunity there, or not. Perhaps we need to do what China did and start to build our cars for our own people.

Canada should invite these scientists here to fund and continue their research.

Just wait until Canada returns US tariffs with potash tariffs. That should go over really well. Enjoy your dust fields.

Never a good idea to partner with nazis over the long term.

Let's send him to Hans Island. Then he can "rightfully" say he laid claim to Canada and Greenland and live out his life there as a proud and noble warrior. To sweeten the deal we can send him Canadian Whiskey and Danish Schnapps to enjoy, which is great since he doesn't drink.
