you don't make an activity safer by discouraging people from doing it 🤷‍♀️

please stop pirating using telegram, it's a messaging service (with some elements of social media), not your cdn

this shit is run almost for free, from the money durov saved on his school lunches, using it as a cdn will break a good service for everyone, including the vast majority of people who just use it because it's a good messaging service

i realize the implications of monarchy

these two irreconcilable perspectives weirdly coexist within me

ngl, i kinda feel sad

i grew up in england as a child, and was exposed to her and the british monarchy in general, and they were a significant part of my childhood, and i guess the combination of of the lack of responsibilities and the general impressionability of childhood just left me with a super warm, nice, pleasant, comforting feeling about her, she was kinda like my grandma...

and it inevitably feels sad to me when this part of my life goes away

but on the other hand, i realize the implications of monarchy, especially given the current crises in england, and very much think that monarchy is a bad thing, and so these two irreconcilable perspectives weirdly coexist within me...

well, yes, among my interests technology also has a place

because lemmy is more technology-focused, the technology-related communities happen to be more active and therefore worth to post to, whereas other communities that align with my interests are rather empty...

i try to post different content to lemmy, and it happens that some of it is technology-related :)
