There are more efficient, greener ways to go about producing pretty much everything we use that doesn’t destroy the earth. Problem is is that it’s not as profitable for share holders.
Most people didn’t create content and don’t interact with it (ie most people are lurkers). Take it upon yourself to comment and interact with posts and others will almost always join in and have something to say.
It’ll be interesting to see how many users stick with the apps that are continuing. I think the devs are crazy to think that even more than 5% of the users they had will continue to use the app for $5/month. Especially when you can’t view NSFW content.
Exactly. It’s a mutual beneficial arrangement that’s made. If the US didn’t want this to happen, we shouldn’t have continued to utilize Chinese manufacturing after literally building them up.
We helped make China who they are today because of capitalism.
It’s true that the Earth has gone through many warming/cooling cycles. We have more than 140 years of temperature data. Scientists are able to use samples from ice in polar regions to accurately trace temperature back more than 200,000 years. There are also geological and botanical signs that scientists are able to use to give approximate temperatures.
The difference between past cooling cycles and present-day isn’t that we are getting hot, it’s the rate in which we are doing so.
Even in the 140 year span that we’ve been using thermometers and able to record data purposefully, the past 30 years has rapidly increased. Historical records show that the temperature increase we’re experiencing is something that used to happen over multiple millennia, not within a century or two.
Aren’t these hot spells becoming increasingly common?
Climate change = significantly hotter average summers and/or significantly colder winters.
That’s why the mainstream changed from global warming to climate change. When it was global warming, everyone assumed the entire world would get increasingly hotter but that’s not necessarily true. The world on average would get significantly more hot but there will be areas that have crazy winters when they used to have no/mild winters before.
Edit: it’s hard to pinpoint one specific data point and say “this is why this is happening.” Especially globally. But we can look at the average temperature across the globe and compare historical records to show something is changing.
This is the only thing keeping m me from using wefwef. I’m using Memmy instead because it’s similar enough but has the haptics.
Absolutely. My dad always said “I’m not worried about you, I’m worried about all the idiots.”
It’s also gotten worse with phones.
Do we have concrete evidence that this is true? I find it highly unlikely Disney+ was hemorrhaging money considering all the parents that are indefinitely subbed to D+ for the Disney catalogue.
Unless the original programming like all the Marvel TV shows (which are pretty low quality scripts) and the remakes (which are low quality) really cost that much to make.
Very true, but theoretically speaking, just because you’re living doesn’t mean you’re automatically admitted to heaven. When thinking of it like that, wouldn’t it be right to think that you’re not admitted to heaven rather than you’re being sent to hell?
Plus I’m pretty sure that unless you commit a heinous crime, pretty much everything you do is basically ‘forgiven.’ Isn’t that why Jesus went on the cross in the first place?
There are a shit ton of plot holes though and you’re absolutely right, you can’t argue with logic because the whole basis isn’t based on logic, it’s faith. You can’t argue faith with logic, just like you can’t have a fair debate when one party is using emotions and the other logic.
The only pro that you make here that has anything to do with wireless headphones is #1, being untethered.
Noice cancelling, an EQ, and audio quality have nothing to do with being wireless.
Regarding latency, wireless mice have less latency than wired mice so I’m sure it’s possible but not with Bluetooth as the tech currently stands. Mic quality and pass through again, aren’t wireless-exclusive features.
