Unless you can launch offensive weapons at other racers or eat shrooms to speed up or literally launch your car off of a vertical ramp into the sky and it turns into a glider in Forza, I'm pretty sure these games aren't even in the same genre.
I had to give up on Soulslike games. It's not that I can't do it, it's that every boss makes me feel frustrated for 30 mins to an hour and I'm cursing a blue streak, pissed off when I'm supposed to be having fun. Not worth it to me or my blood pressure.
Been listening to the 5-4 podcast about how much the Supreme Court sucks and it's been partisan bullshit forever, but yeah Citizens United will probably be considered the death of American Democracy (even though it was terminally ill beforehand).
The Court will literally just make up rules out of thin air to justify whatever the fuck they want.
What are you going to criticize Republicans for? Sure, they're morally bankrupt and destroying the country, but they're doing exactly what their dipshit voters asked for and succeeding beyond their wildest dreams.
Democrats are the ones who are being laughably inept at what they claim to want.
Bah, Imperial Units all the way. How else would I know how many stone I weigh, or how many King's Pubes I am tall? I don't want to convert from kilometers (whatever those are!) to gentlemans-strides or shilling miles to get where I'm going.
Because at some point after the first few million you turn into a dragon that must hoard wealth and the people that generate that wealth become a cost to minimize.
Huh weird, these pull requests just magically accepted themselves
Even in the promos Kes is awkwardly tacked on.
That's an interesting thought. I've wondered this about Chrome's market share in browsers too. How much of it is just that so much traffic is now from phones where, even if you have another browser installed, apps open links in embedded Chrome web views.
Stargate is... its own thing, but if you like it then Stargate Atlantis is good.
Personally, I never felt like any of it was ever as good as even mediocre Trek, and it definitely has this military fetishism / combat focus that I didn't care for as much, but there are some pretty good and fun episodes as well and there's a ton of Trek/90s scifi alums you'll recognize (including Connor Trinneer playing a big bad that is definitely not Trip Tucker).
I love IV and it's definitely the Trek movie that cheers me up the most, but Undiscovered Country is the best TOS movie. Great cast, huge canon implications, great sendoff.
That's hilarious, but not really the same thing.
