I have finished all of sg1, atlantis, and universe and have an itch for more stargate, has anybody read any of the books? I know they aren't canon but I'm interested to know if they are any good? any ones in particular I should read first?

I got through the first seven season of SG1, now I get to look forward to some flip flop action with Atlantis

does anybody else play magic with cockatrice or a similar platform? I'm getting back into the game after some years away and don't have the budget to play IRL right now.

I'm looking for somebody else to play with, since I have more free time or more interest in the game than my other friends.

we tried a few out and cockatrice seems to be the one that everybody I play with dislikes the most. I am open to other platforms as well but I don't like arena or similar games where I have to gain access to cards I would rather just play with whatever I want.

anybody interested in some evening games that range from janky casual to semi competitive? mostly been playing commander but have had an itch to play some modern or something 60 card 20 life.
