The reward for hard work is more work

I might pick it up in the near future. I don't have much nostalgia for the NES Dragon Quest games, but this one looks amazing.

If they remake DQV and VI in this style I will buy it in a heartbeat! And yes, I know V had two remakes already, but none of them are available on a modern platform.

From my experience working for a management consulting firm. It's more like everyone knows what the problems are and how to fix them, but they are too scared of screwing up to do something about it.

So they hire a consultancy company to tell them what they already knew and take the blame if something goes wrong.

Their hardware is also garbage. My MX Anywhere 3 lasted only two years. I had no brand Chinese mice that lasted longer.

That would explain Elon Musk being concerned about the Sun engulfing Earth a billion years from now

Smartphones. Most people don't need to buy the latest and greatest iPhone every year.

The best thing about this gen so far is the rise of handheld PCs, like the Steam Deck and ROG Ally. I mostly play on the Deck nowadays, while the PS5 gathers dust.

I once went on a date with a girl and when I got to the bar there were four of her friends at the table! They left once they made sure I wasn't a murderer.

When my sister got her doctorate, she told her kids now they can no longer call her mama, now it's dr. mama

Didn't they pull the same shit back when they changed the company name to Meta?

We all know there won't be a Deck 3. So I hope they take their time on making the second one perfect.

Happened when management started treating the IT department like crap and demanding we work overtime with no extra pay. Almost all the experienced developers left in the spam of a year.

Before I left, I told them they would never be able to assemble such a good team again. Four years later and they are still struggling to keep the department running, according to a friend that chose to stay. The few developers they are able to hire are either terrible or quit after a while.

I get the feeling the same will happen in my current job :/
