I love that they gave him a massive bulge. Found him in a run last night.

I used to think like you. But then I released that you aren't gong to successfully convince billions of people to fix climate change through personal choices and carbon footprint efficiency.

Collective action to change government policy to make climate pollution uneconomical is how it changes.

Maybe that policy makes meat a luxury commodity and you get what you want, but human will is too weak to assume that people will stop eating meat out of choice.

The concept of our personal carbon footprint was one of BPs most successful ever marketing campaigns to avoid their accountability.

I think the average PC gamer on Lemmy isn't going to see the value in the Switch 2. I've personally seen that for people that want things to just work the switch is a great console.

The Switch 2 is getting a little greedy with paid upgrades to switch 2 performance for switch 1 games, and that goes against the "just works" ethos.

Risk of forks of a FOSS project that turn out to have added a vulnerability I think is the point.

Get a trade and make bank. University educated skillsets aren't as in demand as tradespeople, and I believe that is going to be more true over time.

Also your training is cheap, paid even, unlike university.

Microsoft office suite? Adobe, most DAWs. PCVR.

There are alternatives for some of these things. IMO libreoffice is good, but buggy compared to the MS office suite.

Would YouTube get shittier if Google was broken up? I was under the understanding that YouTube is a loss leader service for Google, but I still think its one of the best social media sites on the web. Even when you consider the number of ads (that doesn't affect a revanced user).

Omg it really feels like that sometimes.

The youtubers who paint Linux as extremely unstable/not appropriate for gaming almost come across as sponsored by Microsoft. (Not to mention the overemphasis of the ubiquity of adobe suite users i.e. confirmation bias)

So glad the indie scene exists and is thriving. Media outlets/youtubers give AAA way too much airtime.

Even if it's them complaining about bad AAA games, that's still time that could be shouting out truly creative games.
