No, we don't. Maybe in Poland or Hungary it's different. After all who voted Orban would also vote Trump

They're here and they're there and they're everywhere We're taught that after the war the Nazis vanished without a trace
But battalions of fascists still dream of a master race
The history books they tell of their defeat in forty-five
But they all come out of the woodwork on the day the Nazi died
They say the prisoner of Spandau was a symbol of defeat
Whilst Hess remained imprisoned and the fascists they were beat
So the promise of an aryan world would never materialise
So why did they all come out of the woodwork on the day the Nazi died
They're here and they're there and they're everywhere
The world is riddled with maggots--the maggots are getting fat
They're making a tasty meal of all the bosses and bureacrats
They're taking over the board rooms and they're fat and full of pride
And they all came out of the woodwork on the day the Nazi died
So if you meet with these historians I'll tell you what to say
Tell them that the Nazis never really went away
They're out there burning houses down and peddling racist lies
And we'll never rest again until every Nazi dies\

They've been reverting a lot of that Nordic socialism due to the usual anti-immigrant rhetoric

Tell that to China, with their 5 year plans. Capitalism is also not the way to move forward - it heavily promotes inequality and strife in the world.

Caring for the needy isn't charity, it's making sure they aren't needy. Promoting entrepreneurship isn't companies popping up left and right doing Uber but for dogs kind of idea, it's solving the world's biggest problems with new ideas.

You can't guard society against the excesses of capitalism because capitalism promotes corruption, artificial scarcity, and waste of resources by design.

With this being said, to change how the western world acts we must recognize that the party system exists to sustain itself and we won't have real change if we don't change it for power to be given to real people and not career politicians (or build guillotines)

Do we think traffic data will ever be available for a project like this one? Or maybe it already is and I just don't know.

Thanks for your comment. People keep forgetting that even a couple of million would be enough for you to never work a single day in your life and have a nice middle class life. 400m is just the equivalent of 200 "comfortable middle class lives, forever"

This is no longer a boring dystopia

No, it is not. Socialism does not mean statism. Please feel free to read up on libertarian socialism, Anarcho syndicalism or even eco socialism. The Greens/EFA in europe lean towards libertarian socialism.

Proud of Guterres' courage. We share a country and an alma mater and that also makes me proud.

Recently I have had an issue that whenever I connected an external monitor to my laptop it would just freeze. This is on an Asus laptop with nvidia graphics.

The only way I managed to solve it was by following this solution https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/windows-10-reset-external-monitors-settings/b3a53cef-e54f-4410-b09e-6846fa297a3f

The solution was essentially deleting these reg folders

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\GraphicsDrivers\Configuration
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\GraphicsDrivers\Connectivity
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\GraphicsDrivers\ScaleFactors

With this, all configuration is deleted and when you connect a monitor you may need to reconfigure if it's extended, duplicated, etc.

Hope this is helpful to others.

With the Netanyahu government, that's the more plausible explanation.

You cannot be tolerant to intolerance if you want a tolerant society.
