@gravitas_deficiency
And yet he still gets to walk around and promise to pay for people's meals, then skip as if nothing is happening. It's annoying

New research concludes that the Colorado River Basin lost 10 trillion gallons of water, an amount roughly equivalent to the capacity of Lake Mead, to climate change from 2000-2021.

Yeah that is understandable.

I noticed there didn't exist a niche community that I'm passionate about so... I created it! It's like any other new platform, it just takes time.

As we start to see more users join, it's inevitable to see trolls (especially low-effort trolls) making more of an appearance and trying to be controversial and noticed.

Best just to scroll past them. They want to spark unwinnable arguments and rack up negative rep. If something seems absurdly ridiculous or inciteful, just move on. It's not even worth down voting.

I've been here a couple weeks now and did not know that, thank you!

@TheAmishMan

11+ years here. A moment of silence, 99% of my redditing was through this app. I feel bad that I only just bought the premium version because I didn't realize just how good it was, but I hope I made up for that. Thank you for your years of service.

And fuck spez, glad to be here now.

Any bets he still doesn't face appropriate consequences?

@Thalyssa
I was banned from one sub in my 11 years on there... /r/conservative. You can probably guess why

I'm testing reporting posts in my magazine, after reporting them I don't show any notifications or indications that something has been reported. How does that work?

E: I found it. It took a while for the reports to come in (and I don't think I was notified in any way) but I found them at https://kbin.social/m/<myMagazine>/panel/reports

@feidry
I went back and checked and apparently hadn't bought the premium RiF app over the 11 years I was on reddit so I went back and bought it this week as a final thank you.

How do we see the people subscribed to our magazines? I can see how many people are, but I can't seem to click through to see who. the People section of my magazine is virtually empty/a lot fewer results than my subscribers.

@VioletteRei I really like jumping into Wreckfest from time to time just because it makes me think of the fun old Destruction Derby games on PS1/2 and it's fun to mess around in with friends.

Can someone give me insight into how magazines we create here on kbin can be shared to other instances? It seems it kind of works, but when I look at some kbin magazines from other instances, sometimes they show up, sometimes they don't, and if they do it doesn't show there's any activity in it when there is.

A new community for Onces and Twice news/music videos/multimedia/discussion!

This may be a little more on the niche side but I wanted to create a space for something I'm very interested in. I hope this will turn into something like reddit's /r/twice and /r/twicemedia. Please feel free to check it out and start contributing or lurking as you like!

It was pretty underwhelming. I think ultimately it's, unfortunately, pointless. Spez gonna spez and him and other people monetarily invested in reddit will get theirs--they'll cash in on the IPO and walk after that being richer than before. Whether they stick around to try to improve the platform or not is anyone's guess but... at least there are lots of us who likely won't go back to reddit like we used to. I like this place a lot so far!
