If Trump were still on Twitter he'd be a strong contender lol

First step will be that they'll slap ads into it. Afaik stuff like that is already planned.

Interestingly it is still higher than a lot of European countries which have affordable healthcare

I do it mainly for the reason because I am lazy. I don't like having to think what I need to buy before I go shopping. If I eat the same stuff every week, I know what and how much I need to get and where to exactly find it in the supermarket.

You could do what I did: Install a second drive in your computer and install Linux (e.g. Linux Mint) on it. That way you can always go back to Windows should you come to the conclusion that Linux isn't for you . But I have to say, being a recent switcher from Windows to Linux myself, the transition was really easier than I initially thought.

Why? It is an easy and secure way to identify yourself, be it for shopping or taxes or other necessary paperwork stuff, or anything else.

Humanity? Lol, speak for urself, US-American. In civilized countries we use ID cards for identification. Says a lot about the US that y'all abuse Social Security Numbers as identification lol. Imagine claiming to be the greatest country on earth but then not even having ID cards lol.

Yeah because Communism worked so well for Russia, China, North Korea, etc. Communism is NEVER the answer, since it will ALWAYS get abused.

Lemmy Algorithm (lemmy.world)

Why is the feed algorithm so horrendously bad on Lemmy? I keep seeing the same posts I had previously seen/interacted with, even if I refresh the feed. Is it because this platform has not enough users?

Oof, that's rough. Makes me appreciate the law here in germany that employees work stations in an office must be exposed to daylight. Cubicles like you described wouldn't be allowed here.

Rich people unfortunately don't need to fear being prosecuted. They know very well that they are above the law.
