Womens sports were never about protecting women, full stop. They were sold as such, sure (racist and transphobic moralizing fear campaigns have so often scored political offices).

Women's sports exist to protect (a faceless majority of) men's egos from women's excellence. The fact that FIDE still enforces women's chess is a glaring example.

To "cover all bases" though: When it comes to physiology, it would make so much more sense to have weight classes irregardless of sex or gender identity.

Fact is we have entrenched, wealthy institutions with lots of bastards who refuse to see the humanity of another gender or skin tone other than their own, and until they croak they'll drag out every backwards tradition they can force down our throats.

Ay fr, from a "blue haired gendergrafitti skoldilocks": Your ways may be alien and sometimes even a false positive for me to be on my guard...but I will always distinguish healthy, non-coercive forms of allocishet relationships apart from the Imperial Family model.

I figure that reminder does hurt for next time the topic comes up next to the word colonialism: That you refuse to subordinate and to be subordinated is seen.

Youtube: offers Shorts and aggressively markets them at any demo that responds well to Tik Tok, competing for a more toxic comments section with years of experience.

WhatsApp: all the group chats and online bullying that you banned facebook to get away from, 1:1, day of the ban.

Should we identify society root causes and address those? 🤔No. No, it's the kids who are wrong /s

I sounded like you until I went offline and learned about Anarchism, anarcha-communism, intersectionality, Mutualism and Solidarity Economies. You might get your feelings hurt by online ML's, but that's not the real world. I dont agree much or even at all with some ML's, and others I date. And I give less than zero fucks about what any .world neolib has to say about anything, given how much their system more than anything else has colonized and raped the planet and her peoples.

"The Harry Porter Universe (not fixing the spelling mistake) is bit of a Bullshit liberal fantasy about jamming magic into a heirarchal modern education institution and perpetuating class and wealth divides via it" -- Loosely paraphrasing a PhilosophyTube vid-essay, and a good final nail in a coffin of one's fandom, if anyone's looking for that sort of thing.

This fun fact is just the...splatter on the uh *checks notes Dementor's cake, i guess =/

Drag yr fckin with the status quo and I love that for drag. We do not need to cling to our comfort zone with regards to social constructs and asserting one's autonomy is never policing others -- regardless of how indignant those who are have become accustomed to policing tran's people's expression may loudly take difference.

Whatever other disagrements we might have, in fighting for freedom from/of gender expression, we fam 🫶

With all due buddy: "If cisgender men could get pregnant..., ...with a drive thru haha every five freedom units I'm dunny with the funny" would slap, contrasted to choosing to erase trans men, which catches hands.

The person you're replying to claiming that, for bigots to have won, the true litmus test is if society hates bigots. How entertaining.

My message to you is keep fighting. You can learn angrily, you can teach angrily, you can be braver.

There's plenty to learn and teach about. Wherever you are there are surely folks in need and folks organizing, and the darker things get the brighter our resistance grows.

Take up with, and get involved with literally ANY human rights advocacy. No, you wont change the world all on your own -- but hyperindividualism is something to unlearn (angrily) all on it's own!

What you're almost certain to do, supposing that you go in with the strength to admit when you're wrong, will be to build connections with kindred spirits.

So here's just a few inspiring causes, for which i both encourage online learning about, but topics for which you never have the true picture until youre involved locally with folks who are already saying, for their humanity "Nothing about us, without us"

Drug War Survivors: https://www.crackdownpod.com/

Landback: https://www.indigenousaction.org/

Marooncast: Black and Queer anarchism, ending police (and their) brutality and creating real autonomy for communities of color https://marooncast.buzzsprout.com/

Healthcare: https://www.beatriceadlerbolton.com/ (Has a link to the book and podcast. Other collaborators, and the greater community formed around these, deserve equal attention and credit)

These are a small fraction of what's out there. If you're able bodied and inclined to do so, go link arms in an eviction defense; Stonelink Realty is buying out folks apartments from under them everywhere, and there's no justice, or even any sense, in police throwing someone working two jobs out on the street, just because sillicon valley types are moving into the area.

Be pissed. That is an appropriate emotional response. Know that for many of us, especially those whose intrinsic traits cannot br safely hidden (melanin, queerness, medical or economic condition, ..) that retreat or surrender are not possible.

Since youre still reading: There exist so many anonymous, unofficial rescue workers, engaged offline providing the resources made scarce or forbidden to those forgotten or sacrificed by society. Knowing of them casts a bit of light. Getting closer to that light? Well maybe your experience of community begins to feel a bit less cold. ✨️

Youth liberation is so key.

https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLc9r_BYSBia9HLaEV1kaInTB_ltiC1v4R

Ive seen most all of Andrewisms entries to this.

Indeed, Trans Kids are Deserving of the Choice to avert a puberty they Clearly Do. Not. Want.

Anything else is heirarchal domination and authoritarian violence; and speaking firsthand as a person who got to her late 20's b4 realizing she was in denial: is deeply traumatizing.

The good news is therapy works. The bad news is "To con someone is easy, you need only to pull one over on their intelect. To convince that same person they've been conned is much harder: you have to overcome their ego."

Polygamy: Mormons, etc. generally opposes womens rights.

Polyamory: Ideally places noone above another, elevates everyone to have the healthy connections such that noone is a "3rd wheel" or more disposable. Less about "polycules" recruiting new members, and more about individuals pairing with new partners, and existing partners (initially at least) gaining a metaphor. Mileage may vary and the point is everyone's needs are a bit different and shouldnt feel pressured to fit neatly into a nuclear box.

Just fyi.
