Fair enough, but I did try with tracker couldn't connect with anyone, switched to I2PSnark worked very well.

The problem is that qbitorrent doesn't support DHT via I2P only trackers, you can clearly see the difference in peer numbers if you use I2PSnark. Officially it should work, but I couldn't get any peers.

It is amazing, but it has the issue of not having that many user. I2P is great, but because not many people know about it and that it is harder to set-up than going to a torrent site and downloading, not many people use. I2P speed improve the more people use it. One other flow I found is that I2PSnark is awful and there is a need for a better client for it. From my understanding the more you seed, the better speeds you will get, thus it encourages seeding which solves the issue with normal torrent were a lot of people will not seed after a while. I think it is a great idea specially now that many torrent sites are being taken down.

I remember reading about Gumroad it used to be mostly for NSFW art, but they did a Tumblr and banned it. Maybe this is related to the loss of revenue.

Edit: found the article

There are two new browsers coming Servo written in Rust and Ladybird (web browser) written in Swift. Lets see which one will win. Ladybird alpha is coming in 2026 and they have more funding.

I test firefox vs edge in my pc, both with ublock origin. Firefox noticeably uses more ram than edge which uses same engine as chrome.

Here this person saw the same results as me: https://libreddit.bus-hit.me/r/firefox/comments/18gp19l/ram_usage_in_firefox_vs_edge

It will still lower memory usage considerably, Firefox uses way more memory than Chrome. Memory optimization is horrible in Firefox.

I can't wait for Servo to be finished so I can move away from Firefox, it uses way too much memory.

Does anyone have this issue were firefox becomes slow if left open for a long time. In my case after a couple of weeks rendering becomes slow and when I use youtube for example if is laggy, just trying to change volume taka few second to show the volume bar. It also happens to my laptop at work. I have around 30 tabs open.

Bluesky is Decentralized, people are moving to Bluesky because it is easier to use and has better UI and UX. The reason people are moving to Bluesky and not mastodon has nothing to do with Decentralized, it is because it is simply user friendly. I used both and I think currently that Bluesky is definitely better. One of the biggest issues is the app, many users use their phones and The mastadon apps are awful in comparison to bluesky.
