Leaving lemmy (self.meanwhileongrad)

I joined lemmy after reddit API changes, as many people did. At first, it was amazing. The community felt so alive, so friendly and welcoming. Obviously, the activity wasn't exactly as large as it was on reddit, but I was patient, I knew more stuff was coming, and I was excited for it.

Unfortunately, this period would not last long. It would not last even a week until I got into my first argument with a tankie. I saw them and argued with them from time to time on reddit, but people there usually saw right through the bullshit and downvoted them to oblivion.

Here, it was so much different. They were all upvoted and supported by hordes more tankies. Constant genocide denial in China, support for Ruzzia, and somehow, for North Korea.

In retrospect, I should have left then, abandoned lemmy then and there, not really return to reddit, just leave both alone. I would have saved myself some sanity.

But I didn't, which I regret. I wasted my time here, constantly seeing this bullshit, and sometimes, I didn't even have the motivation or energy to argue with them.

The amount of genocide denial, dictatorship praising, and insane arguments I've seen in a month blew past the amount of this shit I've seen on reddit in a fucking decade.

I don't see the future in this, none whatsoever. Lemmy will be here, but it will always stay a tankie hellhole unless you block thousands of people and whole instances. And if you do, the tankies will always just migrate to other instances to keep spreading hate.

You guys are awesome. Keep doing what you are doing, but I am tired of this bullshit and I am done.

How does supporting one genocide stop the other? Who said that I somehow support the US? Who says I am even american, and not someone who personally has to deal with the consequences of tankie horseshit?

I've had terrible experience with mainly tankies, which infest this site to its core. That was what mainly made it so hostile. Aversion to bluesky and reddit made it very gatekeepy

I did. The userbase in most of the subs there is warmer, not hostile, and much, MUCH less gatekeepy.

If lemmy ever wants to grow and actually succeed, I don't see it happening with people acting like they are acting now.

If the userbase of mastodon is even remotely similar to that of lemmy, I sure as fuck am glad I joined Bluesky instead

For me personally, it has to be animal pulser. I go into a Base, hide in a small room and activate it. Now I can witness a custom manhunt pack against my enemies! It's so much fun to watch.

I had legendary armor that broke, will i get a quest for it again?

And a second question, is there a mod that removes durability on legendary weapons and armor? I feel like they should be unbreakable

EDIT: So I just got the mission to go get it again. Interesting. I guess I'll get some kind of repair mod and repair it once I had it for a while

I am not really one to hate on teams or drivers for no reason, as I hold massive respect for each and every one of them. I love the sport, so I feel like having some hatred for a part of it is not really useful. But I have to say, from the baviour of Toto, to comments of Hamilton and on track behaviour of Russell, they have become very annoying in my eyes and seeing them lose has become more fun to watch than seeing them win. That's obviously just my subjective view of things, but I just feel like them being on top for 6 years and being in the sport for a pretty long time, they would understand that domination is not easy. Instead, they act like sore losers, dismissing their competitors, shitting on the car (and in the same way, the engineers), and overall being extremely unlikeable. I am not even tifosi, but after shit Toto has said during Las Vegas, I am holding my hopes up that ferrari cleans the floor with them in Abu Dhabi and gets that p2.

After a year of using JLAB JBuds Air ANC, I am done with the company and their trash products. I have wasted 60 Euros on this piece of garbage, just for them to constantly unpair, not charge, be massive with the sound not being good enough to excuse their size.

I am currently trying to exchange them in Alza for a cheaper JBL product.

If you think about buying any JLAB product, try to find a cheaper or even a more expensive alternative.

My horror experience with these pieces of plastic garbage make me wanna chuck them into a river.
