Kukur Tihar, also known as "Day of the Dogs,” is a Hindu festival in Nepal dedicated to honoring dogs.  It falls on the second day of Tihar, a five-day Hindu festival celebrated around October or November.

On this day, people worship dogs, decorating them with garlands and applying vermilion tika (a red mark) on their foreheads. Dogs are also offered food and treats

No rage, just confusion as I'm sure it's something I did wrong.

I try out Proton Pass (web browser) for the first time and generate an alias, and then a password. And I remember adding a couple of notes to it. But I opened it up the next day, and the alias is still there, but the other info is gone. Nothing in the history, nor in the generated passwords.Looks like it was last modified at its creation, so I would guess that it never saved the info.

Did I miss a button click or am I missing something?

When I want to download an image while on voyager; I tap on the image, select save image from the options menu, then it says photo saved. If it is saving them, then I can't find them, because they're not in my downloads, pictures, or camera photos.

Where are they, and how do I get them?

Update: Thanks for all the replies, it seems in my frustration, I didn't check how the filder waa sorted.

My phone (/e/os fp5) has a bad habit of defulting the sorting to alphanumeric

Thanks again

Yeah.... I've been there.

Sometimes you get the need to rebel against your better judgment. I didn't regret it, you can go one short night and still function with with a supply of coffee. You just need to be sure to prioritize sleep the nezt night, because after that you lose all cognitive leniency.

Formorer chicagolander:

I was never the most informed of pritzker, as I didn't start payong attention to politics until covid. The first thing I remembered hearingvabout him is that he tried to evade some property taxes in some houses he owned by removing the toilets, didn't work though. I found it more amusing than anything else

I remember when the covid crisisvstarted, he he did his best to reassure people with daliy press briefings. I also remember that pritzker was always at odds with trump. I hear he still is. Yeah I'd vote for him, maybe not over sanders, or aoc (I'd have to think about it), but I think he'd do a good job. Hasn't got any complaints from me, more than I can say from most Democratics.

I'm thankful for this news.

Want to add in here, that some washing mechanics can't handle the homemade detergent mix. I've damaged one or two with the mix. Not entirely sure as to the reason, but I believe it has something to do with the grated soap bar clogging something somewhere.

I can say say first hand that pf5 works in the us. At the time I used T-Mobile, but no problems with connectivity.

T-Mobile is based in Germany, so cell service is still functional between continents.

Currently I don't have T-Mobile, but have the murena esim, they do utilize the T-Mobile network though. Haven't been in the US with the esim, but I can still use it fine on wireless or roaming

I wanted to make a Monty Python or a "banana on the wall" joke, but this just too sickening

Happens to me every now and then, I just switch vpn servers, then it works fine. It's inconsistent, the same server that was suspicious one day is fine the next. I'm guessing it depends on how many youtube videos are being streamed on that particular sever at that time

As a professional volunteer between 2017 and 2019, I've worked with fema as a member of an americorps group. In the practical sense, fema help asses the disaster situation and signs checks. The money pays for the support efforts are later billed to the state, but are offset by volunteer hours (ALWAYS FULL OUT THE TIMES SHEETS WHEN YOU VOLUNTEER). Most survivers don't receive support from fema, but rather from the appropriate government and charity groups.

Learned lemmy exsisted recently. How I'm doing? I'm getting through the days well enough to keep going with an even pace. Trying to focus on my family and my health, rather than the burning world around me. I check my news sites and scroll through the fediverse, hoping looking for good news. I get some of that, but a lot of it is bad news. But going through the fediverse has shown be like minded people, and people who feel just as frustrated and helpless as I do.

Knowing I'm not crazy Seeing that there are people trying to do good It gives me hope.
