I created the Icon and banner in over 3 agonizing hours in Gimp. Since this was pretty much my first time using it it doesn't look the best. If you want to create a better version, just post it in the comments and I'll likely use it.

Considering this is a new community I'm not expecting a lot of posts, but if you want to be a mod, you can dm me. It would probably be good if someone covered covered the opposite timezone.

Minecraft currently has minecraftbuddies@lemmy.world. I don't know if the mod is still active, but since it doesn't look like it, I will allow Minecraft posts.

If you know of a community that is about finding people for a specific game, comment it and I'll add it to the top.
The fire department I volunteered at charged you for stuff like car crashes. A few weeks ago I got a bill from the fire department for a car accident I caused. Maybe it's a European thing? The fire department does get funding from the country and from events they host (that's probably just an Austrian thing)
