Hey, getting instant crashes after updating on my end. I sent in a feedback report, crashes while loading up.
Adding in here because this is what prompted the idea, the ability to see history of similar offences. For example a post be user X is reported for spam, in the report it would show the report for spam, and also show that they have been reported 2 times for spam in the past. Would help a lot on finding repeat offenders, though I'd definitely a "nice to have" and not a feature to dedicate much time to for the initial mod tools release
While I agree with a lot of what you said (apart from Ukraine not having a chance, I'm not an expert in the matter (and surely it's their choice?)) And I see the benefit of some cathartic release and generally having a space to complain/rant (god knows I've done it many times in more private spaces) I dont see the appeal to anybody who is not already very far down their leftist journey and worry it actively pushes people away. And hey maybe that's intentional, maybe hexbear only wants these views but I get the impression from the comments defending the instance in other instance communities that this isn't true?
If it's intentional then I'm all for you having that space, benefits of the multitude of instances. That reminds me I need to create a new account elsewhere anyway

From what I have read, reports go to both the community moderators and the admins. Also it goes to the admins of the instance the user that makes the report is from. For example, if a user from lemmy.world reports a comment, lemmy.world admins can "remove" it, but it is only removed for users from lemmy.world.
If removed by a moderator or admin from the community/instance the report is about, it is removed for everyone.

In both your programmer case and the case of the catholic hospital staff member you have a very clear option, you can not work at that facility. Don't want to write code for military weapons, cool then work somewhere that doesn't do that. Don't want to provide abortions at your work, cool then work in a medical facility that doesn't provide them. Many facilities don't perform abortions just because they aren't intended to, such as clinics etc so you should work there.
Your programmer case also doesn't make sense because extending the metophor you want companies to be allowed to not develop software that is used by the military...they can already do that.
