Massive turnout, by the time the march got back to the capitol it wrapped around to the end of the group and kept going. Every bus, train, and shop in downtown was filled with people holding signs and flags. Amazing work everyone!

XD yeah i wasn't super masculine though so idk what my body was doing with all that

Dang! Hope you can get prog soon, honestly the sleep benefits have been the most beneficial thing from it for me. Orchi didn't lead to any additional changes for me, but god was it nice for dysphoria

Hm couple things! My levels after 3 months weren't changing as much as I wanted to. Before I started on HRT I basically had double the average Testosterone (& double the average E) so I figured injections were a guaranteed way to nuke my T levels.

I also had heard from others that injections worked much better than pills, and I figured since I wasn't scared of needles that I'd give it a try. It was also super convenient to switch to only remembering my HRT once a week, I've got ADHD & was struggling a lot to remember taking my pills twice a day.

Congrats! Wishing you the best on your journey!

I switched to subq injections after about 3 months on pills & it was the best decision I ever made for my transition. Felt like the whole process accelerated, within 7 months of switching to injections (10 on HRT) I was stealth at my new job, it was shocking how much of a difference that made.

Main thing to worry about with clots from oral pills is if you smoke! If you don't smoke nicotine then the risk is low like the commenter said above.

This looks super cool! Thanks!

It's fun! But once you go once you've basically seen it all, so I'm looking to branch out

Anyone got recommendations for fun odd art / performance scenes in Denver? I loved the Artcade in the Theater District last year, as well as Spectra Art Space. Looking for places in that vein.

Just curious to know what other people use for their injection methods! I do subq and recently had to reduce my draw needle gauge to 21 since I kept coring vials accidentally.

I love the ps2 era of games! Here are some suggestions:

  • ICO: Minimalist game about a cursed boy & a girl with mysterious powers trying to escape a castle together. An absolute classic.
  • Shadow of the Colossus: Another Team ICO game, this one you've probably heard of. You play as a young man who sets out for the Forbidden Lands, finding and slaying 16 colossi to resurrect his deceased love.
  • Silent Hill 2: One of the greatest survival horror games ever made. Introspective, tackles mature themes, and deeply chilling. A game I truly feel is haunted.
  • Persona 4: High schoolers solving a murder mystery in a rural Japanese town. I prefer the vanilla ps2 version to the revised Golden edition, it graphically preserves the fog & spookier ambience - with better pacing from less bloat.

For some more obscure games:

  • The Adventures of Cookie & Cream: A brutal co-op/singleplayer puzzle game developed by Fromsoft. Has a fun art style & interesting levels.
  • Tak 3 - the Great Juju Challenge: Works best in co-op but still a blast in single-player. 3D platformer with varied levels & a fantastic voice cast (Patrick Warburton as Lok is the highlight).

Btw if you're playing mgs3 on the ps2 make sure it's the Subsistence edition! It has a 3D camera that works way better than the top-down the og game shipped with.

100%. Feel like my dad was only suited for raising kids until they were 10, then absolutely refused to engage with us as teenagers or even adults

Used to tell my partner I wish I was gay to teach my parents a lesson in empathy... Wow did that backfire being trans & gay

I came out to him over christmas 2 years ago and that's the last time he's spoken to me. His last words to me before he read my letter were "Love you always"

Highly recommend Colorado if people are seeking a blue state to move to in the US! The legal protections are some of the best, we have a super majority Democrat state government that's gotten even more left leaning under Trump, and there's tons of community for queer folks in Denver.

Agreed, I had a friend who every time it came up talked about how much he hated Taylor Swift. I kept trying to press him about what he didn't like about her, like the music, or the tours, or whatever.

And at the bottom of it he just didn't like the idea of a woman with wealth and power equal to her peers in the music industry
